Coaches:
• Steve Sanfilippo: Head coach at MSOE and owner of Baseball Lab
• Trevor Schwecke: Utility player for Buffalo Bisons (AAA affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays)
• AJ Vukovich: 3B/OF for Amarillo Sod Poodles (AA affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks) and #12 overall prospect for the D-Backs

Areas of Focus:
• Exposure to mechanical and approach-based drills
• Create a hitting routine that caters to each hitter’s weaknesses
• Understand how to analyze your swing through video
• Dissect the feel vs. real hitting dilemma
• Understand what separates great hitters and what their commonalities are
• Each hitter will receive swing analysis from the coaches after the camp

We are excited to have Trevor Schwecke back at the Lab in his off season! Trevor is available for private lessons and he is running a defensive camp and a hitting camp in November.

Trevor moved quickly through the Blue Jays system in 2022 where he hit .230 with 10 homers; he began the season in High A Vancouver and finished the season in AAA Buffalo. He logged a perfect fielding percentage in AA New Hampshire, and an overall fielding percentage of .978 across three affiliates. Trevor was versatile in the field, starting games at all infield positions as well as left field and right field.

Hitting/Strength 6pm (Wed 10/13-11/03) | Baseball Lab Wi This strength and hitting camp is open for ages 9-12 and runs from 6:00 - 7:30pm on Wednesdays 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, and 11/3. The strength training portion of this camp is instructed by Luke Meteer with hitting instructed by Mike Porcaro or Steve Sanfilippo. The camp costs $120. A maximum of 20 kids...

The Baseball Lab WI Summer Camps are now open for registration! Session 1 will take place June 14th-17th from 9-12pm.
Session 2 will take place June 21st-24th from 9-12pm.
Registration is open for up to 20 kids ages 9-12 at $250.

Each participant will receive a t-shirt and the camp will cover stretching, baseball conditioning, hitting drills, defensive drills, pitching drills, and competitions.

These 3-day Spring Break camps will be 1/2 hitting and 1/2 pitching/defense. Monday and Tuesday hitting instruction is led by Jordan Bock with pitching/defense instruction from Conor Fisk. Thursday hitting instruction is led by Steve Sanfilippo with pitching/defense instruction from Jordan Bock. The camp costs $90 to attend and includes a free t-shirt.

Jake Sommers is only with us for the month of March before he goes to Spring training. Jake played at UWM, he was drafted in the 10th round by the St. Louis Cardinals in 2019. He was recently traded to the Colorado Rockies in the Nolan Arenado deal.

Earning Horizon League Second-Team honors after going 2-2 with 10 saves and a 3.60 earned run average...selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 10th round of the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft...was even better in Horizon League action, posting a 1.29 ERA and five saves...batters hit just .170 against him in conference play, recording 18 K's in 14.0 innings of work.
