I am officially back in business on Wednesday May 20th! Oh how I’ve missed you all! I’m so very excited to see you. In order to keep all of our clients and coworkers safe during this unprecedented time there are a couple guidelines the salon has asked our clients to observe that are in line with the Ozaukee/Washington County health department guidelines.

*If you have felt unwell within the last week please reschedule
*Come with clean hair ie washed before your apt
*Wear a mask
*No coat/hat/purse or belongings- anything you can keep in a pocket will be fine
*Text when you arrive so I can let you in, please wait in your car until I get to your text.
*Sanitize your hands as you come in or wash hands in men's room. Sanitizer in lobby between the glass door and wood door.
*Please no guests, arrive alone.
*If you are looking to have a quicker time in the salon plan on having hair washed, dried and straight-I love dry cuts anyway 😉

Beverages, magazines, waiting areas, changing room are not being offered at this time.

I know I know, so many rules! There are so many opinions and unknowns, as a business my main priority at this time is to keep my clients safe so I will do whatever it takes to achieve that. Please call/text/pm me with any questions/concerns.

Dear valued clients,
As of tonight, March 18th, I will no longer be taking clients until the Coronavirus is no longer a threat. I truly appreciate you all and can’t risk putting you and your families at risk. I will be reaching out to all that are in my schedule going forward to reschedule for at the very least 3 weeks from now. This is just such a heartbreaking time for so many and I want you to know I will miss you all. Some of you I have known for 20 years now, what will I do without my monthly updates about your families? I pray this goes fast and I get to see you all very soon.

At the beginning of this year I made a goal to build my business larger. I wanted to add more hours since the kids were older and I wanted to bring in more money so that I could help provide a little more for the kids.

I am happy to say that this year I doubled my income, became so booked that I think I need to go to full time, and helped provide more for my family! I killed my body by working 3 12's every week (hence the possibility of full time hours;) but it was worth it! The surgery was successful and I'm back behind the chair!

Happy Holidays to all my amazing clients out there! It has not gone unnoticed by me how lucky I am to have you all in my life. Just a reminder that my first opening available from this point on is Feb 14th due to my surgery and recovery.

Dear Clients,
I got my surgery scheduled finally! I will be having an Anterior Cervical Corpectomy with Fusion on Dec 30th. I picked this day because it will be after the holidays and most people get their hair done before the holidays so the next 4 weeks of recovery won't affect as many people. My Dr believes I will be able to go back to work part time at 4-5 weeks. I have blocked 6 weeks(just in case) in my schedule and will definitely open it up as I feel better! If you know for a fact that you will need hair services during that time please pm me and I can give you a name and number of one of my coworkers. I truly work with THE BEST so I have the utmost confidence they will take great care of you. In the meantime please use this scheduler to plan ahead and get an appointment scheduled before I'm out for awhile!

Check out this awesome new haircut and color I did recently!! We lifted and toned her hair to a beautiful blonde and went for a very trendy haircut. She also had some peekaboo pastel pink and peach in through the top to add some interest. Turned out beautiful and was a ton of fun to do. :)

Loving this beautiful Ombré I did today! My new client, Heather, was looking for a certain type of ombré style. She had many pictures for reference and she had gone to other hairstylists in the past in the search for her coveted style. None were successful, until today! Such a fun day and it was great to see her so happy!

Top 5 suggestions for healthy hair

1. STOP FLAT IRONING EVERYDAY. Give your hair the gift of its natural state every once in awhile. 🙅🙅🙅

2. Use a good quality thermal styler to protect and smooth your hair. I sell GK Thermalstylher ($19) and it is SPECTACULAR. I hardly ever flat iron my clients anymore!❤️❤️❤️

3. Get a haircut every 6-12 weeks. Just do it. Healthy hair grows and unhealthy hair breaks at its ends. Don't make your hair break. 💇💇💇

4. Use conditioner every time you shampoo. Every time. Use a Leave In spray conditioner before combing out your hair after a shower. GK Leave In Spray ($22) helps you brush through your ends and makes it feel silky smooth. Awesome product. 💆🏻💆🏻💆🏻

5. Stop putting your hair up while it is wet. Guess what happens, as your hair is drying it is also expanding. Check out this awesome makeover! Jamie wanted to go with a sassy color and cut. I lightened and toned her hair to make it a beautiful ash blonde. I added peek a boo pink slices through the bottom to add some pizazz (wish I had gotten a better picture showing that awesome pink). She also opted for a shorter cut! It was so fun Jamie, thank you!!!

Today was an awesome day! I heard from an old client who moved away, met an awesome new client who I absolutely adore, AND got to cut all of my dear friend Tara's, hair off!!

That's right, Tara Williams chopped it all off and donated her hair! Check out the amazing before and after. She looks beautiful! Who's next? I would like to be able to do a makeover like this once a week from now on!

Hello all! Nothing is more heartbreaking than a young child dealing with Cancer Treatments. The treatments rock you to your core, both physically and mentally. Can you imagine losing your hair, eyebrows and eyelashes during your formative years? The time when you are learning to have self confidence, finding your identity, and most of the time being a bit too critical about your appearance- now add Cancer and all its horrible side effects.

I had the honor of participating in a fundraising event at Whitefish Bay Highschool yesterday. The kids donated hair and also collected $6000 for the Macc Fund. Here is a small sampling of the huge amount of kids who donated and buzzed their and gave a monetary donation. Message me if you are interested in providing a hair donation. :).

Choosing the right color for your skin tone is so very important! Meet my new client Hayley! She had been bleaching her own hair at home for years. I high-lighted, low-lighted, toned, and colored her hair and it turned out beautiful! From unhealthy to healthy, and it only took 3 hours;). Gotta love color corrections! I am loving the new trends this year! A couple weeks ago I did the metallic and today I did the Oil Slick ( picture gas/oil in water, all the beautiful shades together)! Beautiful Magenta, Violet and green against a dark 5n. Turned out beautiful! Check it out!

We are already seeing some of these awesome trends. The Guy Tang Metallics line and the natural blondes are my favorite. Time to get a little edgy and get some awesome bangs everyone!
