Homeschool Support | Montessori | Merced,CA Inclusive Montessori based nature learning center and homeschool support organization. We're more than just a learning center; we provide a comprehensive and holistic academic support system to enhance your homeschooling efforts. ​

Children between the ages of 6 and 18 are required to attend school. If you intend on homeschooling, the filling period is between October 1st. - 15th. of each year.

CALIFORNIA COMPULSORY EDUCATION ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENTS
Children are required by law to attend full-time public school or continuation school unless they are exempted. Exemptions include attending a full-time private school. Homeschooling is not specifically mentioned as an exemption, but many people homeschool by establishing a private school in their own home or enrolling in a private school satellite program. Private tutoring by a credentialed teacher is another exemption. Charter schools and public school independent study programs satisfy the compulsory education requirement.

Let's get your little ones outdoors and onto the farm! We are pleased to announce Riverdance Nature Learning center's Camp Riverdance for the Littles. This one-day camp will run on August 20th. from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Children ages 3 - 6 years.

Where does our food come from and how does it get to market? Students will have the unique opportunity to learn through nature in this fun-filled hands-on educational opportunity about what a day in the life of an organic farmer is like, complete with a tractor ride on the 74-acre organic farm. Your young learner will also experience nature through mindfulness movement activities, nature art, Storytime, and cooking! Your little gardener will help to turn fresh produce into a delicious snack, enjoy a solar oven pizza lunch and squeeze lemons to make fresh lemonade. This is a unique experience they won't want to miss!
