The Women and Families Center is committed to promoting equity and improving quality of life through services that foster empowerment and independence. WFC programs include Before and After School Enrichment, Employment and Training for low income adults and youth, Sexual Assault Crisis Services, Prevention Education and Project R.E.A.C.H., a street outreach program for at-risk youth and WYSH House.

We are excited to announce that our Before and After School Programs were chosen to be the beneficiaries of Operation Warm and the Subaru Loves to Help – Free Coat Event in partnership with Quality Subaru of Wallingford.

We will be in the Earth Suite at the Mohegan Sun Arena where you will enjoy a private entrance to the Suite with plenty of seating overlooking the stage. The accommodations include private bathrooms and a full cashbar. So come support the Women and Families Center while you are enjoying the concert in the "Lap of Luxury" in the beautiful Earth Suite!! The Women and Families Center (WFC) is proud to announce their inaugural Walk for Hope to End Homelessness on May 7! The 2-mile charity walk takes place at Choate Rosemary Hall. The walk will feature the beautiful Choate campus, a picnic after the walk and organizers expects nearly 300 walkers to raise thousands of dollars for WFC. The walk begins at 9am.

All participants will receive a custom walk t-shirt with their registration. After the walk, participants are encouraged to stay for the picnic for food, drink, music, co****le, and more!

During the month of January, New England Brewing Co.. in conjunction with the Greater New Haven St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee and Women and Families Center (WFC) ran the Fuzzy for a Cause Campaign. Restaurants in New Haven collected money as well as donated items for WFC’s Sexual Assault Crisis Services (SACS) program. The campaign collected $1500 in money and donated, 100% of which was donated to WFC’s SACS program.
