Just a reminder that as we receive heavy spring rainfall, you will see standing water in your lawns, not only as it's raining, but even for days following. Our valley received 3/4" yesterday alone plus today's HOLY BUCKETS! Standing water will be present for several days even as the sun shines. So stay in, enjoy the flowers blooming and know that standing water is NORMAL!

The shower room can be an amazing solution when working with a defined area for tub and shower.

The key when working through this space is to measure well then define your slope. The tub's final resting point can't be on a slant. So where does its flat part end and slope begin and where does it meet the shower's drain? Linear drains can solve these issues but zero clearance entries can make it problematic.

And here's the man behind Biltmore, Kevin Amar. You'll rarely see him because he's doing the tough part- running the behind the scenes.

Kevin is the son and grandson of potato farmers from Salmon Idaho. An Idaho native, he was raised by the best family who instilled in him honesty, loyalty, integrity and priorities. He is well admired because he never veers from these beliefs and would give the shirt off his back to someone in need.

Kevin's passions are his family, developing land & business and cars. He is a wizard at finance and working with his hands and would rather live in the mountains than the city. Oh AND TACOS. He'd eat some version of them every meal.

He's built Biltmore Co. in shorts and flip flops and you'll see him driving hot rods around the valley. He loves his employees like family and plays as hard as he works. He's not a risk taker and every land or property purchase is carefully calculated to meet his personal margins. He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to developing and truly loves the entire process from land negotiation to entitlements to building out the project.

I am Elizabeth Amar (Liz) and my husband and I started Biltmore Co. In the middle of the recession back in 2008 with the best core friends anyone could ask for. It was risky but we were all about hard work. Kevin's background is in land development and mine is Interior Design and Architecture. He loves moving dirt and developing communities and I love floor plan design, elevations and having happy clients who love their home.

Personally, I'm all about
1. Reputation [it's a small valley and our business name is everything to me.]
2. Consistent Quality [I want to produce the same quality every time no matter the home]
