Session 2 of Leadership Meridian was our Transportation & Public Services Day!

We kicked off with an inspiring talk from Kelly Gibbons on the power of attitude, followed by Konrad McDannel with Republic Services and Amy Luft from COMPASS sharing their expertise. Our group also visited Ada County Highway District (ACHD) , explored the Meridian Wastewater Treatment Facility with Warren Hudson, and wrapped up with a site visit at Republic Services featuring BJ Croff and Rachel Klein. Thank you to all who made this session so impactful!

🎨 Introduction to Art (Ages 5-6)
Prerequisites: None

This two-year program introduces young artists to essential art skills, tools, and foundational vocabulary. At this level, students are encouraged to explore new techniques and express interest in a variety of art mediums.

🖌️ Creative Exploration
Your children will create with clay, printmaking, charcoal drawing, painting, design, montage, watercolors, sculpture, stained glass, and more! They’ll also dive into color theory—learning about primary, secondary, cool, and warm colors.

🌈 Building Confidence
Students gain valuable skills, boost their self-confidence, and receive recognition for their amazing creations!
