This is the hour and this is the day. Join us in unity of prayer and purpose in fasting and seeking the Lord for our nation.

We have begun fasting now until the election.

The blessings of liberty in our beloved constitutional republic also carry the burden of defending truth from tyranny. This is the hour that will reveal the condition of our individual and collective souls.

This is the hour that requires an understanding of spiritual warfare and a sacrificial devotion to purposes greater than ourselves.

Once again, our nation faces an election decision of epic significance, through a voting process that in itself needs our prayers. Fasting, prayer, and the embrace of national humility has been part of our national character since our earliest days when the Colonial Virginia Assembly called for fasting and prayer after the British embargo of Boston in 1774 and these solemn calls and declarations have been issued in times of crisis ever since.

Will you join us? This is the hour.

Gathering with others in your family, your neighborhood, your ekklesia, your local church expression, and larger community to pray daily and seek the Lord for the healing, preservation, and restoration of all that is desirable in righteousness and purity in our nation —that we may fulfill God's purposes for us as a people.

Reflections on Psalm 37
Today’s meditation from Psalm 37 has been both a grounding and an uplifting experience. The scripture opens with a call to patience and strength: “Wait on the Lord; Be Strong; And WAIT ON THE LORD”! This powerful message is a reminder that our trust in God requires us to be patient and strong, knowing that He is our guide and protector.
The verse “The Lord is my Light and my Salvation; Whom shall I fear?” resonates deeply. It reassures me that with the Lord as my light, there is no need for fear. His strength is the foundation of my life, and with Him, there is no enemy too great.
My prayer today focuses on a single request: to dwell in the Lord’s house for all the days of my life. I long to see His beauty and seek Him within His temple. In times of trouble, I trust that He will provide shelter in His pavilion and secure me in His tabernacle. I believe He will elevate me above my adversaries, and I commit to offering sacrifices of joy and singing praises to Him.
I also pleaded: “Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice! Be gracious to me and answer me.” When God calls us to seek His face, my heart responds with a commitment to seek Him earnestly. I ask that He does not hide His face or cast me away but continues to be my help and guide. Even if I am forsaken by others, I am assured that the Lord will take me in. I pray for His guidance on an upward path, away from the schemes of my enemies and false witnesses.
Embracing the Promises
It’s clear that I need to move beyond a “Wilderness Christianity” and fully claim what is legally mine in Christ. Blessings & Promises!!!
From Igniting Faith in 40 Days by Backlund, I am reminded of the difference between legal and experiential ownership: “Every person has the legal ownership of Eternal Life, but it must be possessed experientially through faith in Christ.” God’s promises of health, favor, spiritual power, protection, abundant provision, and wisdom are all part of these great promises. While challenges may come, perseverance will help us experience these blessings.
Declarations:
• I am who the Bible says I am.
• I have what it says I have.
• I can do what it says I can do.
I am continually experiencing the promises of God. Amen!

As Charles Capps reminds us: “Your Word, O Lord, will cause me to prevail! Even though a thousand fall by my side and ten thousand at my right hand, it shall not come near me! This Word will keep me in ALL my ways, and in my pathway is prosperity, for Abraham’s blessings are mine! Christ redeemed me from poverty, sickness, and spiritual death. Therefore, in the Name of Jesus, I give voice to Your Word. I am redeemed of the Lord, and I say so!” Amen.
Final Word
I hear the Lord saying, “POSSESS THE LAND!” With family, clients, staff, church, community, and beyond, God is with me. I am confident in the diligence and fortitude of Christ working through me. I claim the anointing for prosperity in all areas of my life—health, wealth, and relationships. May God’s Presence and anointing Power be my daily portion. In my weakness, His strength is perfected. To Jesus alone be all the glory, honor, and praise. Amen!

Attempting to always control how other’s perceive you so you appear more “fun” or “nice” or (insert blank) will only lead to frustration, burnout and resentment because it will require you to dishonor your boundaries and values.
