It’s Coffee Tuesday! Today, we set up our cupping with a focus on tasting with intention. 

This starts with paying attention to the broad flavor profile, narrowing into specific flavor notes (even just one!), and taking a guess at the processing method.  To keep things as familiar as possible in this exercise, all the cups today were Pair roasts.  If you were there, did you guess any of the processes?  How about which one of our coffees the cup was?

Bright, fruity, and sweet, this coffee is the kind of cup you look forward to waking up for! This delightful anaerobic co-ferment coffee blends soft lychee with delicious chocolate!

Milk, strawberry, and lemon extract, shaken with ice and topped with matcha or espresso.

New menu this Sunday!

Here is one of the new drinks specials and an old fan favorite " cookie monster." it's milk with butterfly pea powder top with espresso and cookie crisp.

Here's what was on the table this Tuesday! This time was a special line up of teas from ! Not your standard fare for sure. Each one was unique and surprising, with unconventional processing on familiar cultivars.  

For us, the 2003 Formosa Eight Immortals was an interesting selection! An aged tea of a varietal that is typically from China transplanted to Taiwan, with notes of turbinado sugar, parsnips, and a nice lingering marshmallow finish. 's flavor notes were all on-point!

Customers were digging the Honey Orchid and Honey Alpine Black. These types of Honey and Phoenix oolongs are usually gateway teas, similar to how natural-processed Ethiopian coffees usually draw people into specialty coffee :D

✨Dear friends✨ This announcement has been in the works for a long time. March 31, 2024 was the sudden end of our bar take-over of Little Jupiter Cafe and our time as .craftworks . We made so many new friends and memories. We loved being able to share the creations and efforts of people passionate about their craft, from our own team members and from artists, bakers, cooks, and roasters within our community. We loved featuring awesome coffees from around the country and even international roasters. Maybe .craftworks will have a chance to revive in the future. But until then, thank you to everyone who joined our journey. 😭

Some of you may know that efforts were underway for us to take over Little Jupiter permanently but unfortunately, that was not able to happen. We had invested a lot of time, effort, and money that we won't be able to recover.  April 2024 was a whirlwind as we shifted gears into competition season at USCC, and with the sudden change from ending the pop-up in LJ, we've been working hard to re-stabilize our coffee inventory. Thank you for everyone's patience, especially our online and subscription customers. 🥹

We're finding ways to bolster Pair again. If you can, please support us by visiting our shops in Tempe or Mesa or online, spreading the word about us, or just even a friendly hello! Every bit will help. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

We've got a new project underway in our Mesa spot and hope you'll give .boba a try. Boba is our roots, a callback to a more carefree era. Our co-owners Kimhak and Eugenia met 16+ years ago, hanging out late nights at boba shops with friends, and we hope to carry those same light-hearted vibes into the present and future.
