Sergeant First Class Milton was recognized this week by Colonel Sutton and Command Sergeant Major Black, 5 AR BDE Command Team, with a BDE coin. SFC Milton was instrumental in developing a joint TF Black Scorpion / 1 CAB Emergency Response MEDEVAC exercise. The exercise incorporates three real world MEDEVAC emergency response scenarios. TF Black Scorpion could not be more proud of the dedication to mission that SFC Milton displays daily.

The Secretary of the Army has reposed special trust and confidence in the patriotism, valor, fidelity, and professional excellence of Arturo De La Torre.

Congratulations to SGT Kalen Jones and his wife, Jazmine, on their graduation from BYU!!
SGT Jones received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, with a focus on social media marketing, and Mrs. Jones received her Associate’s Degree in Business Management, with a focus on accounting. The Black Scorpion family is extremely proud of their accomplishments!! 🦂

Congratulations to SFC Arturo DeLaTorre on his graduation from Master Leaders Course.

The Black Scorpion Command Team, Lieutenant Col Johnson and Command Sgt Major Niedfelt, had a great opportunity to attend the 63rd Readiness Division’s Customer Service Workshop on April 19-21 in CA. It was beneficial to interact with the Division staff and speak with the Division Command Team, Maj General Smith and Command Sgt Major Bethurem.

TF Black Scorpions conducted a Transfer of Authority ceremony to signify the transition of mission responsibility with TF Conquer on 16 April at Noel Field, Fort Bliss, TX.
5AR BDE Team, Col. Johnny Sutton and Command Sgt. Maj. William Black, lead the patch ceremony where the newly mobilized units switch out their 85th Support Command patch for the First Army patch symbolizing their integration into the Fort Bliss mobilization force generation installation (MFGI) combined arms training mission.
Task Force Black Scorpion, 2-363 TSBN, is responsible for individual and collective training.

Another successful Division West Leaders Forum at Ft Cavazos. We had the privilege of attending with two of our sister battalions as we start our 12 month tour at Ft Bliss!

Congratulations SGM Sandra Cook on being selected as the inaugural Sergeant Major in the Assistant Secretary of the Army Manpower & Reserve Affairs (ASA M&RA), Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (DASA) -Military Policy (MP).

DASA-MP recognized the importance of a Senior Enlisted Advisor in this office to support policy implementation for the Total Force.

Congratulations CSM Shahpour J. Eskandary on being selected as the next Command Sergeant Major for 7th Mission Support Command.
