New Year ✨
New Goals ✨

2022 was good but I’m ready for what’s in store for 2023 😈

Challenging yourself can be scary but the journey is worth it! Below are a few tips that helped me along my journey & that I continue to implement😊

Tips with Tay ⬇️

✨ Re-write your story 🫶 stop telling yourself a negative story based on your past struggles.

Disassociate yourself with negative behaviors / self talk. Speak what you want into yourself 🔥 to take it a step further write out your goal on your mirror 🪞 with a dry erase marker. positive affirmations are my mfkn’ jam 🦋

✨ Set a scary goal that will challenge you to push yourself & set a date to have it completed by to really apply pressure 🥵 do bi-weekly check ins with yourself for self accountability. Example: weigh in / measurements

⭐️ can’t measure what you don’t track

✨ Embrace the law of results
Excuses won’t cut it. You either have excuses or you have results but babe you can’t have both. Consistency is key 🔐

✨ Follow a structured routine! You won’t get better at something you do only when you feel like it

✨ lastly, preparation is 👌pre-pack a gym outfit & throw it in your trunk of your car. (You’ll thank me later) 😉

Kickin’ off our December plank challenge with a 1 minute elbow plank 🤪

planks are simple yet an effective core exercise that builds stability and strength throughout your entire body! 💙

What I love about planks?
🔹 they can be done anywhere
🔹 no equipment needed
🔹 targets transverse abdominis which is the set of muscles that lay the foundation that enables you to develop your abs

My clients will be completing a plank from our bingo sheet once a day everyday of this month 💪 working on building consistent habits and staying on track during the holiday season 🎄

Planks engage all muscles from your neck, shoulders and back, up to your pelvis, thighs and legs. Gradually this results in strong posture & a strong core. 💪

Rules to participate:
☑️ complete 1 plank per day
☑️ check-in must include tagging bodied athletics business page via Facebook or Instagram (story/post)
☑️ check in can be a selfie or video snippet
☑️ keep track of what you’ve done via *screenshot & put an emoji over what you’ve completed

Happy holidays beautiful people! Below are a few tips to help stay on track during the holidays! 😊

- Remember to prioritize protein and stay hydrated! You can still have your favorites all in moderation. ❤️

- Get your workout in early! A short workout is better than not doing one at all. Working out doesn’t have to feel like a chore. Your body will thank you for the movement later!

- Treat the holiday as a regular day. Have
breakfast. Skipping meals can lead to over eating later on. (We don’t want any trips to the hospital due to gastritis or pancreatitis)

- Bring a healthy alternative! One of my favs are fruit skewers with a yogurt fluff dip 🤪

- Get active with the family! Do an indoor or outdoor activity 🏈

- Don’t be afraid to say no! Grandma will be ok if you don’t eat a slice of every pie.

Truthfully, there are a million reasons to delay something.

Your budget is tight, you may be planning a trip, you’re being pulled in a million directions.

it’s funny how we get a 30 day garuntee with a job - we expect what we were offered within those 30 days and are upset if we don’t get it. However, we never demand time back from ourselves. Next time you say you don’t have time for yourself. Reflect.

It’s either make time now and be proactive or be forced to make time later with medications and doctors visits.

So good + under 500 calories 😋 don’t let diet culture tell you ‘you can’t have that’. Life is all about balance! Restriction over time leads to binging and it becomes an endless cycle (been there, doneee that) 🫠 what has helped me get back on track during my fitness journey has been tracking my macros on MFP. 🤌 Macro counting helps understand where your calories are coming from and how they affect your body! ✨

Being healthy doesn’t mean you have to be miserable 😩 and eat dry boring food to reach a set goal. Remember, whether you’re getting fit for the summer or just wanting to fit into those favorite pair of jeans. Be kind to your body 🫶 It hears everything you say. 💓Results take time bodied babes. ✨ Be patient with yourself and trust the process. Fall in love with becoming the best version of yourself!
