It’s supposed to warm up a bit over the next week, but those temps are still pretty chilly especially for those without housing.

Some of you know I occasionally collect items for Aris foundation. They serve those who are without housing.

I am collecting hand warmers and mittens to get to them before next week (they do their dinners on Tuesday nights so I am planning to collect between now and Tuesday afternoon. You can always drop at one of the other volunteers houses after Tuesday though. Let me know if you need the address).

Here is what I am looking for:
-Hand warmers. They are on Aris’ wishlist. You can ship right to them or send them to me.

- Mittens or gloves. Dollar tree had them. I am sure many places are clearing them out right now. They are pretty set on hats (several wonderful volunteers made them many great hats). So if you are spending money, hand warmers or mittens are the preference.

-Jackets and blankets. Would you go through your closets and pull out any jackets and blankets you no longer use or don’t need?

-Totes and luggage. They really appreciate anything you can carry items in. If you have some reusable totes you won’t use or old luggage or duffel bags or backpack, we’ll take it.

- Sleeping bags/tents. Have any old camping gear hanging around?

Sunday was my 9th annual “Thanksgiving Thank You” Pie Party! I can’t believe it’s been that long. This year was special because Matt, both girls, and the baby were able to be there (we were still missing Quinn). I so appreciated their help and it was fun for people to get to meet them.

Some year I’ll have better pictures of the actual event but for now I have a full heart. As always, I’m so grateful for my clients (past, current, future). Those that support my family and my business. You literally are the heart of my business and your referrals mean the world to me.
