Customizing is everything. This client wanted less white in her bangs, so I repurposed a few of the white wefts to blend the transitional color by sewing them back in around the face. We altered two rows out of the total size of the cap for a much better fit, also it no longer looks like the wig is overpowering her petite features. The third photo is the before. Can you imagine if she ordered this online and had to wear it this way? We don’t just sell wigs out of the box and wish you good luck. Each piece is thoughtfully designed for the valued client wearing it!

Had such a great time helping Ashley find two wigs to wear during her upcoming chemo treatments. Ashley is so proactive and educated, getting testing done to understand the Bracca gene and empowering herself throughout the entire process. Her daughter was so much fun and so helpful, leading the way, complimenting her mom, even suggested her mom take the wig outside to see the color in the sunlight. I just loved her and hope she applies for a job here in a few years! Ashley went with Showstopper and Wavy Day in RL 6/30, and as you can see in this photo, she is gorgeous in her selection! 😍👩‍👧

Client Jeannie says: would love to encourage women who feel heartbroken about losing their looks and feeling like even their value too, especially those also struggling with an illness that is causing their hair loss - double the heartbreak. i will never forget trying on my first long wig - remember “angelica” over at your shop and i felt all suddenly alive again when i turned and looked in the mirror. i almost cried - maybe i really did. my heart sparkled - i could actually feel it. and i was all giggly and grinning like it was christmas. feeling vibrant and gleeful like that again was priceless for me. short wigs may look good on me in other people’s eyes, but they’re not me inside, at least not yet. i’m still a long hair girl at heart. and that underscores the importance of getting the “right” wig for yourself at the right time, even if it’s not what other people would choose for you. i love having a collection of both short and long. maybe it’s important for women to know that wig wearing is an evolution just like your real hair? our looks and style evolve organically as we age, giving us time to adjust to the changes. it should be that way with your wigs, too, right - same thing. for me anyway, the adjustment to changing styles will be easier if i allow it to happen naturally, instead of just doing what may be considered more age appropriate. whatever women are comfortable with, whatever makes their heart sparkle, and however they see themselves in the moment, that should be the gift they give themselves.
