My Story
Growing up I always found myself creating; rather it be making collages from magazine clippings, drawing, making posters for school or even coming up with new recipes in the kitchen. Like many of us I viewed my creative side as a hobby, not something I could actually do for a living. It wasn’t until meeting my now husband that I was encouraged to use my creativity as a business. I had already earned my Associates Degree in business with a focus in marketing and advertising, so I decided to attend Francis Tuttle Technology Center’s graphic communications program. There I learned Adobe software products including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign and became Adobe certified in all three. I also learned a lot about photography, but it did not interest me like Adobe did. I enjoy creating print work pieces and logos the most, but I am capable of anything and look forward to continue to learn and grow as a graphic designer.
