Korin & Robert, the owners of Preferred Communities, had the opportunity to attend the Vantaca Vision 2023 conference in Charlotte, North Carolina this past week. It was an amazing few days networking with other management companies around the country who utilize the Vantaca software, and attending seminars to learn more tips and tricks and hear about the exciting enhancements coming in the next year!

It was a experience! We know our Board Members and Homeowners will be just as excited about the upcoming enhancements as we are!

Of course we took a few hours out for some site seeing around the beautiful city of Charlotte, too! The fall colors were amazing. We look forward to next year!

We like to think that we have the BEST out there but we know many people deserve all kinds of attention on National Boss’s Day.

Have you had recent financial difficulties that caused you to fall behind in your assessments and now you have received a collection fee? Did you want to submit an appeal but don't know where to start? It's easy! Head over to our website at www.gothoa.com then look for the tab that says "Homeowner Resources", scroll down to "Documents / Forms" and then click "Appeal Process / Form". When the appeal form pops up, please read the directions and fill out the form. It only takes a few minutes to submit your appeal online. Please be sure that you meet the criteria for appealing before submitting. Once your appeal is received, we will then forward your appeal to the Board of Directors for your community to review. Once reviewed, we will let you know via a letter, whether your appeal was approved or denied. Please note, appeal decisions are final and can't be appealed again.

Before you think about pouring that driveway extension that you've been dreaming of, please be sure to check your community Architectural Guidelines before submitting your Architectural Request. Many communities have restrictions on how big a driveway extension can be and where they can be placed. Typically this sort of information can be found in your community documents listed on our website at www.gothoa.com. Save yourself some time (and potential headache) and do a bit of research BEFORE submitting your request. If your Architectural Request does not fit within the design guidelines established by your community, we will have to deny your request pending submittal of more information needed. Doing it correctly the first time around will save you time (and headache) on your project. For more info, please check our website at www.gothoa.com and locate your community under the Homeowner Resources tab. There is a wealth of information that can be located there.
