CALL FOR MUSICAL THEATRE TEACHING ARTISTS!!

ASU Gammage is hiring up to 8 Teaching Artists to assist with Disney Musicals in Schools in the 2024-2025 school year. DMIS TAs work one afternoon a week (M-TH) for 17 weeks at a Title I elementary school to launch their after-school theatre program. Applicants should have a musical theatre background and teaching experience. Applications are due by Monday, July 15, 2024.

We are excited to open registration for the Pitch Sessions at the APA Conference on Wednesday August 14th!

Guidelines for submitting your pitch application:
1.) All applicants must be registered for the Arizona Presenters Alliance Conference (which requires membership in APA).
2.) All artists being pitched (or making a pitch) must be Arizona-based artists.
3.) Pitches can be for:
~ Completed projects ready to tour
~ A request for partners in development of a project idea
~ A request for services or support that an organization with access to a facility may be able to provide to support the development of a new work
~ Collaborative projects with other presenters
~ Agents may present ONE artist (not entire roster) and that artist must be Arizona-based
4.) Pitches may be made by:
~ Artists
~ Agents (again, only ONE artist who is Arizona-based)
~ Presenting organization members or staff
5.) All pitches must be no more than FIVE minutes in length INCLUDING any time for questions.
