Sunday weddings are often overlooked! Most couples prefer a Friday or Saturday because well, it’s a Friday or Saturday. And here are some great reasons you SHOULD reconsider⬇️

1. Budget Friendly Travel for your out of state guests!

2. Better chance of getting a weekend date. You want a weekend, but Friday & Saturday are completely booked…pick a Sunday!

3. Extra Savings! Sundays are most likely a day that will save you money!

4. More availability for outside vendors! Saturdays are always so busy, so that florist or bakery you wanted to use have a high chance of being booked already.

5. Make your wedding a whole weekend party! Friday and Saturday enjoy your family, friends, out of town guests, Saturday have a relaxing rehearsal dinner and end the weekend with your big day!

Booking a wedding venue is the first huge domino to fall on the to do list, and such an important step! So to help, we’ve put together 3 questions that don’t always get asked, but absolutely should! Do you have any questions that you think should be added?!

1️⃣ What is included with the venue?
There are so many options out there, with some venues being all inclusive and some that are completely DIY. Find out exactly what each venue includes to help compare when shopping around!
2️⃣ What is the (don’t say it out loud 🤞🏼) back up plan in case there’s bad weather? Because there is nothing worse than booking a venue for a ceremony view only to be stuck with an indoor option, or no option at all! Run through all the scenarios!
3️⃣ When can I arrive? Some venues focus on an all day experience with getting ready rooms for the entire wedding party, some limit the arrival time to only a short time before the ceremony. Make sure you understand when you are allowed to arrive and if it’s on par with your expectations!
