My latest digital art creation features a surreal landscape of the moon rising over the Superstition Mountains. This was done from a photo that I took while hiking on the Treasure Loop Trail in the Lost Dutchman State Park. I used my Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and edited with Adobe Photoshop and Topaz Labs Studio 2 photo editing software. The moon was from a separate image that I added on top of this one. My latest digital art creation features a full moon rising behind the flowers of a Palo Brea tree in Mesa, Arizona. This is a composite made of two different photos that I took, one of the full moon with a black background and the other of the Palo Brea flowers. This digital art creation features a photo that I took from the Tortilla Trail along Highway 88, which is also called the Apache Trail. The Tortilla Trail is a hiking and off-roading trail, while the Apache Trail is what they call Highway 88. This was taken as the sun was going down, and I love how the light and shadows were playing on the landscape. My latest digital art creation features a sweeping view of the Superstition Mountains with a large chainfruit cholla cactus in the foreground. This is a view from the Treasure Loop Trail at Lost Dutchman State Park in Apache Junction, Arizona. My latest digital art creation features a clump of hedgehog cactus in front of an old dead tree, which was probably a Palo Verde. This was taken back in February of 2022 at sunset from one of the trails in the Casa Grande Mountains. It's been some time since I've posted anything here. This is an image that I took on October 17, 2021 on the trail that goes up to the praying hands rock formation near Jacob's Crosscut Trail in the Superstition Wilderness. I couldn't decide which edit I liked better. The first one has a more retro look. I like both of these. The photo was taken with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 phone and edited with Samsung's photo editor and Snapseed. I have not been out to do any photography for a while. It's been a very hot summer this year, so I've been staying off the trails. Hope you all have a blessed evening!

My latest digital art creation features a saguaro cactus against a sea of orange poppies. The photo that I used to create this was taken at Peridot Mesa in the San Carlos Apache Reservation, San Carlos, Arizona. This place is teeming with poppies and other wildflowers in March, especially after we've had a winter with lots of rain. This year we've had a winter like that, so I'm looking forward to getting out there again to do some more photography. I edited this using Adobe Photoshop and Topaz Labs Studio 2 editing software. This is my first digital art creation from one of my photos for 2023. It features a Black-Crowned Night Heron, which I photographed at the Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert, AZ. The photo was taken with my Sony camera on my first visit to the Preserve since last summer. I edited it using Adobe Photoshop and Topaz Labs Studio 2 editing software. My latest digital art creation features a scene from the Salt River in the Tonto National Forest near Mesa, AZ. I've titled this one "Salt River Solitude". If you zoom in on the right side of the picture you can see a man standing on a rock in the river. I can just imagine that he's looking at all the amazing beauty that he's surrounded by. I originally took this picture on February 27th of this year. I was there was Dino when we were first starting to date, and we were looking for the wild horses that live in the area. We saw only two, but I didn't get a chance to photograph them as there was no place to park my car. Even so, we still had a great time. I took the original photo with a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 phone, and I did the editing using Adobe Photoshop and Topaz Labs Studio 2 editing software. Hello, everyone! It's been awhile since I've posted anything here on my page. I want to share with you all my latest digital art design, which features a Great Egret. Being the largest of the egrets, I think of this one as the king of egrets, and therefore I've titled this "The King In His Palace". The original image was photographed at The Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch in Gilbert, AZ, and I used Adobe Photoshop and Topaz Labs editing software to achieve the final result. My newest digital art creation features a scene from the Salt River at the Water Users Recreation Site in the Goldfield Mountains on the Bush Highway. This area is in the Tonto National Forest. Here the light of the setting sun is illuminating the trail with a beautiful golden light, and it reminds me of the Shire from the Lord of the Rings. My latest digital art creation features a scene at the Jewel of the Creek Preserve in Cave Creek, Arizona, along the Dragonfly Loop Trail. This place is just beautiful with amazing cottonwood trees growing along the creek. I was blessed to get the opportunity to hike there a little over a week ago with a good friend and fellow church parishioner, and we had the most beautiful weather. This was done from a zoomed in image of the saguaro cacti with the cottonwood trees, an unusual scene in the Sonoran Desert. I designed this using Adobe Photoshop and Topaz Labs editing software.
