427ci SS came in for some needed maintenance along with some additional work to get the AC blowing in this beast. Rear axle stub kept popping out the differential causing a major leak. Diff had an internal problem so we swapped it out with a General Motors rear carrier. Rear wheel hubs were swapped out as well to fix a ABS problem the car was having. Customer has an iron block that does not have a spot for the AC compressor to bolt up to. Late Model Engines sells a billet bracket that attaches to the main studs to allow stock location of the AC compressor. AC blowing ice cold and car is back on the road! 🏎️💨. A pressure test confirmed we were getting coolant past the head gaskets. We removed both cylinder heads, had the machine shop clean them up and reassembled the engine with ARP hardware. GMC Denali came in for a cam kit. We installed a Brian Tooley Racing camshaft kit, Speed Engineering headers/Y-pipe/Plug wires, and a brand new GM Genuine Parts & ACDelco General Motors oil pump. V6 Silverado came in for a V8/4L80E swap. Once the swap was done, customer got a Performance LLC Twin turbo kit to add on with Turbonetics Turbochargers turbos. Truck was swapped to run with Holley Terminator X. On the dyno with the stock 5.3L engine started to rod knock. Customer went with a 408ci stroker set up, Holley high ram intake manifold, fuel system dual 450lph fuel pump set up, .fabrications coolant expansion tank, catch can, and a MSCRP valley cover plate. Pro Charged C7 came in for a misfire issue and some regular maintenance to get this thing ready to dyno tune. We replaced all 8 spark plugs, oil filter, and drained catch can. After our diagnose we discovered cylinder one had a sporadic misfire. Coil pack plug was burnt up on the power side of the connector. Pro Charged Cobra came back in for some more upgrades. This time around we installed: BMR Suspension Rear Upper & Lower Control Arms with bushings, Late Model Restoration SVE Rear Differential Cover, Viking Performance, Inc. Double adjustable shocks, and a McLeod Clutches RXT clutch kit. Car came in because the throw out bearing came apart in the transmission and suspension needed addressing so we got it all taken care of.

CTSV 2 came in with a hurt engine. After addressing issues we found: broken rocker arm cylinder 1, broken piston cylinder 8, multiple spun bearings and a leaky brick in the supercharger lid. We pulled the engine and had work his magic getting a forged bottom end put together. Outlaw Race Engines supplied a new trunnion upgrade kit as well as a dyno tune for the customer. ESS Supercharged C6 came in with a hurt transmission. We swapped a used low mileage transmission into this beast to fix the 3-4-5 slipping issues the old transmission had. While we had the transmission out we installed a Hughes Performance torque converter, Walbro Fuel Pumps 525lph hell cat pump, and new Fore Innovations, LLC fuel rails to clean up the engine bay a bit. V3 came in with a misfire. After digging into the engine we discovered a bent push rod in cylinder 6 due to a bottom of a lifter breaking off and forcing the lifter to get stuck in the bore. Magnuson Supercharged Camaro came in with a bad misfire. After further diag we found no compression in cylinder 8. A broken valve spring was the culprit. We did a leak down test to insure that the valve wasn’t bent. We installed some Brian Tooley Racing 660. Dual valve springs & new valve seals to fix the issue. The driver side header was also hitting the steering shaft so we notched it out as well.
