Happy 20th anniversary to Sola salon Studios 💙💙💙

It is time for New York Fashion Week once again! Sola Salons is working with one of fashion's most sought after design houses and we are needing to build our team of Sola professionals to join us in New York!
This partnership allows us to create career bucket list opportunities for our community that build retention and brand loyalty with some of our strongest pros. Before we share this with our pros, we want to get all of the amazing details to you and let you know how to get the most out of this partnership!

What does the opportunity mean?
If a beauty professional wants to go work at NYFW they have to PAY TO PLAY, on average each show is around $1,500 out of the pro's pocket just to be able to show up. With this partnership, we are able to cover this cost and create a retention-building experience for our pros.
Sola Salons team will be made up of 20 pros from our community
Chosen pros will have the opportunity to work with one of the industry's most talented Hair Keys
Resume Builder - adding NYFW to experiences is a game changer in our industry
What qualifies a pro?
Pros do not have to be experienced in this area to be chosen. Here are some key factors we are looking for:
Pro must be available to be in New York tentatively September 6th-9th
Sola Pro must be able to cover their own travel and expenses (we do our best to pick up a team meal or two 😉)
Sola Pros must bring their own working kit; we will provide them with a tool list in advance.
Must have an active social media presence that shows their work - Why?
Our Hair Key (Lead) partner has final say in our selection, and they need to see that the pro is capable of basic hair finishing skills
What is the NYFW timeline?
July 27th: E-Blast will go out to all Sola pros
Aug 10th: Deadline for pros to submit the application (link below)
Aug 14th: We will announce the NYFW Sola Pro Team
Sept 7th (tentative): NYFW show
How can I support NYFW?
Sola Salons is about creating career-changing opportunities for our community; it is important that as much of our community know about this event as possible. Here's how you can help:

Encourage your pros to apply
Offer financial support if a pro of yours is chosen, by covering flight and hotel
