Our Friendship Deacon’s Ministry presented a “Fabulous 50’s” party for our Senior Singles today, it was a big success! The gym was decorated like a 50’s soda shop complete with a real Juke Box and black and white checked table cloths. We served hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries and a Root Beer float. Under a vivid blue sky, the members of Friendship Baptist Church (and one four legged member of our community) met once again for “See you at the pole “. It is a day that students started to meet together and pray to God for their schools, teachers and government and to seek His will and a closer relationship. We as a church have joined with our students in this annual event to petition our God on behalf of our students, our government and our First Responders to give them wisdom and courage and to take a stand for the truth of God’s holy word.
