Hi Church Family,
May the grace and love of Christ be with you.
As we approach Election Day, I want to remind you of the importance of making your voice heard by voting. As United Methodists, we believe that all people are created in the image of God and deserve dignity, respect, and the opportunity to be heard. This belief is at the core of our commitment to social justice and civic engagement. Participating in this democratic process is one way to act on that belief, seeking a more just and compassionate world.
Election Day can bring excitement for some and anxiety for others, and as results come in, these emotions can intensify. We recognize the need for a safe, welcoming space to process and pray. As your church family, we're here for you. That's why we've created a time for reflection and prayer in our sanctuary. Please join us as we seek God's peace and guidance, lifting our voices in prayer for our nation, our communities, and our role as peacemakers and justice-seekers. I invite you to join us on Wednesday from 6:00 to 6:30 PM in the sanctuary, where we can gather in God’s presence to center our hearts and minds.
In the days ahead, I pray for kindness, compassion, and love to reign across our nation. Remember that we are not called to retreat in fear but to engage boldly in working toward a more just and equitable society.
Remember, God is with us in every season and time in life.

Our youth were asked to bring a photo of an ancestor or a trinket or symbol to honor their memory. These symbols were used to create an ofrenda in recognition of All Saints Day.
We are so thankful for the saints that have gone on before us and those still living among us.

October has been a busy month for our youth and young disciples! We celebrated Bible Sunday with a mini retreat after church at Celebration Station with food, fun, fellowship, and learning how to navigate our Bibles. The young disciples and youth then led the entire service on Children’s Sabbath. We love watching our kids learn and grow!
