Spring has come to an end, but it has been wonderful! We have had so many incredible experiences and accomplished so much. Now we are getting ready for summer and can't wait to see what it has in store!

Tomorrow we start our summer break camp, we are really excited!!!🤩

Hello Dear Parents and Students,

I’m excited to announce our 2nd Inner school competition Spar Wars at the Chang Lee’s Taekwondo Center. This event is an opportunity to compete in live action against other students and see how far along your training has come.

There will 4 events:

Forms: Do your best forms or a combination and sequence of movements in a set pattern.

Breaking: Board Breaking consisting of power, speed and combination of hand and foot techniques.

Sword fighting: with padded swords and scores will be determined by the strikes for points.

Sparring: Controlled match where the accumulation of points with proper equipment will determine the winner.

There will also be obstacle course to test your attributes: speed, agility, jumping, balance, kicking, punching and strength as you maneuver against an opponent for time.

These events will encourage the students fair play competition and performance under pressure and fun. The students will win medals and trophies for their participation.

Please bear in mind that learning taekwondo is not a right but a privilege and a sacred trust!

Chang Lee’s Taekwondo Team Lee Ascend is proud of their students success at the Texas State Taekwondo Championships and qualifiers for Nationals. We had an amazing results and to top off the success we have a Texas Team Member Carlos who will be going to Korea🇰🇷 for 2 weeks for training he qualified along with the other athletes who won their divisions. This will be a great opportunity for Carlos and our organization as we continue to build our team. I like to thank the athletes, parents and coaches Master Diego Salas and Ms Sabino for their dedication to the athletes.

We are finishing December and we had one of the most important event of the year; we at Chang Lee’s Taekwondo are honored to have graduated our Black Belt Candidates for their next Dan level. The tenants of Taekwondo which include Self Control, Integrity, Perseverance, Courtesy and Indomitable Spirit; are used by the students. The students exemplified the tenants and through diligent training and patience they have achieved their Black Belt and Dan promotions.

We are proud of their accomplishments and we look forward to seeing all our students reach their goals and becoming the next Black Belt student.
