A father told his daughter, "Congrats on your graduation. I bought you a car a while back. I want you to have it now."
"Before I give it to you, take it to a car dealer in the city and sell it. See how much they offer.”
The girl came back to her father and said: "They offered me $10,000 dollars because it looks very old"
Father said: "Ok, now take it to the pawn shop".
The girl returns to her father and said: "The pawn shop offered $1,000 dollars because it's a very old car and a lot of work needs to be done".
The father told her to join a passionate car club with experts and show them the car. The girl drove to the passionate car club. She returned to her father after a few hours and told him, “Some people in the club offered me $100,000 dollars because its a rare car that's in good condition.”
Then the father said, "I wanted to let you know that you are not worth anything if you are not in the right place. If you are not appreciated, do not be angry, that means you are in the wrong place."
Don't stay in a place where no one sees your value.
Know your worth and know where you are valued.

We love our country. As we approach our NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER on May 2,2024, let us, everyone, unite together with praying this powerful prayer for our beloved nation.

Our most gracious and Holy God, we honor and glorify you today on this our National Day of Prayer. God, let us always be mindful that you are already an inclusive God.
You identify each of us as your children. You call us by name and you love each of us beyond measure.
We are grateful for this our nation where you have blessed us with liberties and freedoms designed and established by our founding fathers - liberties so precious that veterans have fought to defend and secure them with their very lives.

As we pray today for America, whose pledge of allegiance recounts that we are “one nation under God, “ and whose currency states that it is “IN G0D WE TRUST,” we thank you that your hand is still upon our nation, and on each American.
We ask sincerely that all have a personal encounter with you, the God who rules over their country.

God, You have stated in,
Psalms 33:12 “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”
May this be a new era for America, as we humble ourselves and acknowledge You alone as our Savior and Lord. Father, we praise and thank You for Your goodness to our nation, giving us blessings far beyond what we deserve.

We fully understand that all is not right with America at this time. We deeply need a moral and spiritual renewal to help us meet the many challenges that we face.
Set our feet on the path of Your righteousness and peace.

Father, please protect our country from the division that challenges our ability to live lives pleasing to you. Defend the vulnerable, and bring justice to those who have suffered injustice. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

We humbly beseech you God according to 2 Chronicles 7:14
to forgive our sins and help those in power to turn from their wicked ways and we ask you to once again heal and bless our land, our Republic.
Deliver us from evil, oh Lord.

Lead us, God, back to being a secure and strong nation, as our pledge of allegiance states, “one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice, for all.”

We thank you, God, for hearing our plea on this our National Day of Prayer.
We ask all of these favors in Your holy and righteous name, God.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, now and forever.
