I've been putting rain day placeholders into the schedule so I don't overbook. Nothing is worse than having to move the schedule around to accommodate bad weather but no available time slots to move them to! Weather reports say we will have a much drier week ahead of us! So it looks like I have a few openings now!

Please stop throwing doors away, just to buy a new door that's made with crappy wood. The quality of new doors are just not the same as they once were. The after photo of this one doesn't do it justice! We hope the homeowners love it as much as we do!!

I have the strangest story to share! An elderly lady called stating that her door was just refinished the week before by a "door refinisher" she found on FB. First off, he charged her $1200, which is absolutely bonkers for her door... INSANELY OUTRAGEOUS! He made her pay UPFRONT...major red flag should have gone off. After lots of problems and stories, the refinisher told her that he had to increase the price to $2400! She told him to get off her property. She tried to walk back inside with her walker where he followed her inside yelling and cursing, saying that he was going come back and throw paint on the front of her house if she didn't pay him the extra money. So she rightfully called the police. Since she had already paid him $1200, the officer stayed at the residence and allowed him to "finish" the job. It ended up looking like a child refinished it with odd spots where he sanded deep holes into her door! This guy was just malicious. Holes like that don't just happen by accident. He had to put a lot of effort to make that type of damage. And sadly, we've heard a lot similar stories recently. I just don't understand how anyone can do this?!? For obvious reasons, we did this job at cost!

Here's a little about us: Scott retired after 26 years of federal law enforcement, Ron retired from owning several restaurants, and Ray retired after 20 years with the Air Force. So we look a little different than the normal construction crew but we've refinished almost 500 doors now!

The pictures of the bare sanded spots were on this guys finished product! His after picture is our before picture.

Holy moldy! I don't know what's harder, a sun beaten door or a moldy door. Both come with unique challenges but the end result is equally as rewarding! 😍🥰

I'm always amazed what a new paint color can do to update the look of a house. This red is so warm and inviting! Sometimes the perfect red is inspired by the perfect color of a recliner. LOL! True story! I love it!
