Happy Wednesday, Friends! 🤍 Here is a photo from our - the entryway - specifically the entryway wall. 🤍

When we started this project, the entryway wall looked quite different. 😅 The wall was crooked & leaning from the house settling over time, bad renovations & being over 150 plus years old! 😃 A lot of hard work went into getting this wall right!

Starting with the demo, which was not easy! We had to meticulously remove the crown molding so we could reuse it, demo through a plaster wall which sat on top of many 1” wood slats - lots of mess & lots of little nails to remove! 🔨 ⚒️

We reframed the wall correctly, which in turn made the wall level, installed the drywall, reinstalled the crown molding & trim & eventually primed & painted. 👷🏽‍♂️🧑🏼‍🎨

We also created the powder bath entry door in this hallway as it was originally in the front room.

My point is when you look at this photo…it looks like just a new wall, however, this wall had LOTS of LOVE to get it to look this pretty! 🥰😍

Good morning friends & Happy Friday!

I will admit…I am slightly obsessed with shiny black doors….they look stunning in any style home & with most paint & floor colors. A white door is expected, however a black door is bold, adds a bit of drama & makes the space a bit dressier! 🖤

We salvaged most of the doors at our (because they were too beautiful not to & anytime we can help reduce our carbon footprint & contribute to a more sustainable future…we are in!) So we sanded down the bedroom doors to their natural state, primed & painted using in high gloss! 🖤 They came out beautifully!

& ohhhh how I LOVE LOVE LOVE the doork**bs - They are a vintage ~ marble swirl ~ Bennington style door k**b that were purchased from on Magazine St. in & they are SO lovely!

🖤 & FUN FACT: Raults is the 2nd oldest locksmith shop in the U.S. & the oldest operating business on Magazine St. Very cool shop & a must to check out! 🗝️

Happy Wednesday, Friends! 🤍 The master closet at our 🤍 One of my favorite rooms in the house. 🤍 I designed this beautiful closet & I am so happy with the results! 😊

The master closet had to be one of my favorite spaces once we were finished, however, it was by far the hardest to renovate! 😬 The closet was an addition that was built on top of the old back porch roof which made it extremely difficult to level.

All the work was worth it as the closet came out beautifully. 🤍 We used black & marble harlequin floors (stunning!), polished nickel hardware & ’s as the paint color.🤍

The antique double doors, we repurposed from the master bathroom, brought them back to their natural state & added some gorgeous hardware.

Happy Saturday, friends! 🤍 The front room at our 🤍 As one of the first spaces you see…it most certainly leaves a lasting impression!

The gorgeous, tall windows with a view of the quintessential, southern front porch….& all of the natural lighting…I just can’t get enough…an instant mood booster for sure! ☀️ The high ceilings & oh so pretty window casings (that we meticulously restored) & beautiful hardwood floors (that were also restored). I could go on & on about JUST THIS SPACE! 🤍 😅

I am so proud of the work we did in this circa 1800’s Victorian beauty. 🤍 It was definitely a labor of love.🤍

Good morning, friends! 😊

Here is the newly renovated downstairs powder bath at our 🤍

The entry door to the powder bath didn’t exist in the foyer when we started. The door to the powder bath was actually in their front room — which was a bit odd & didn’t flow with the home. 🥴 So we closed off the original door & added a more functional door in the foyer. 🤍 We reused all of the original, gorgeous 6” decorative molding for the new doorway which was a no brainer - it was just too beautiful not to reuse. 🤍

Also, one of my favorites - the black & white harlequin floors. 🖤🤍 They are classic, timeless, bold, high-contrast, & they go with just about anything….perfect for this Victorian, historic beauty that was being renovated to sell. 🤍

Our laundry room door at our 🤍 We decided to keep the same door they had & strip it down to its natural state. 🤍 We removed the glass that was there & replaced it with - some call it fluted, others say reeded or ribbed & I’ve even heard bevelled…whatever you call…I’m obsessed. 🤩

I’ve loved this type of glass ever since I’ve discovered it. 🤍 It’s about the intrigue, privacy, mystery & glamour all in one. I knew it was perfect for this Victorian home.

Also fun fact - it was hugely popular in the 50’s & 60’s & over the past few years has started to pop up everywhere from Milan to Mumbai from Sao Paulo to Sussex from New York to Melbourne. Like I said, I’m obsessed!

Before: A full bathroom that was oddly placed in the family room. (This 100 year old home used to be a boarding house so they had bathrooms in almost every room).

After: A beautiful wet bar that is not only pretty to look at but also - fully functional! 🍸Gorgeous cabinetry & hardware, polished nickel faucet, quartz countertops, wine fridge, ice maker & brass picture light for the new owners art! & yes, I did say NEW OWNERS because this stunning home has already SOLD! 🥳

Happy Monday, friends! 😊 I hope you all had a great weekend & stayed dry!

Here is a photo from our 🤍 The beautiful, Victorian uptown home, built in the 1800’s, that we had the privilege of renovating for nearly a year. 🤍 A have a few favorite rooms in this home & this is definitely one of them. 🤍

In this room we closed the entry to the powder room (and made a new entry in the foyer) repaired lots of drywall cracks, refinished the antique heart pine wood floors, restored the beautiful crown molding & painted using ’s 🤍

ALSO…I am so excited to share that this home has already SOLD! 🥳 I am BEYOND happy for my amazing clients & I am so proud of the work we did. 🤍 It was such an honor to renovate this home!

So come on in! 🥰 1st impressions are everything & so is the front door of this Nola Uptown home! We completely transformed it…sanded it down to its natural state, stained it & polished all the hardware!

As I am currently walking on my treadmill before a long day of meetings…I thought about this beautiful gym renovation we did recently. 🤸👟

This renovation was for our client who lives in who we are meeting with again today, to start project number 4 or 5? (I lost count). 🤪

The point is…having repeat clients mean everything to me. 😊 One very important goal when I started this business was to build long, lasting, positive relationships with people. 🙋🏼‍♀️ Not only clients, but with subie’s, vendors, designers, real estate agents, etc. 👷🏽Positive, uplifting relationships mean the world to me…& here I am…doing it. 🥰

Speaking of healthy relationships - I am looking for a female fitness trainer in 😊 It would be great if she can come to my home…but if not, please dM her info anyway! 🤸🏼‍♀️🤸 I appreciate it & I appreciate YOU!

Wainscoting is an architectural feature that has been around for centuries…yet it still has a place in modern interiors as the design era continues. 🤍

Here is a project we did a few years ago that I still love & adore! 🥰 We painted & added a full room of wainscoting to an uptown New Orleans home office & it changed a bland, quiet room into a room filled with character, personality, sophistication & charm. ☺️

We will be installing another gorgeous pocket door at our entering the master bathroom. It’s a door that we refurbished from another space in our clients home. 🤍

I kind of obsessed with pocket doors. 😊 They are perfect for small rooms…freeing up valuable floor space & more importantly, I find them aesthetically pleasing. 🤍 Also, the hardware choices for a pocket door never disappoints. 🤍

Our client wanted the trim on this platform piece in her gym we built to match the rest of the trim throughout her home & because we couldn’t find it…we had it custom made by our carpenter. 🤍 We also did her beautiful custom closet.

We are now working on a really unique, custom bookcase that I designed with my clients in - a custom closet & linen closet that I designed for our & all the beautiful trim work also at our Nashville project. 🤍

I actually love beautiful carpentry. A carpenters’ handicraft is truly a work of art. The artistry, lines, & shapes of beautiful handmade millwork pieces is usually the star of the show. 💫 The little details has more effects on us than we would like to admit…at least for myself anyways!

I’m so grateful to work with some of the best carpenters in the city! 😊

I guess that’s the Pisces & empath in me! Or I’m just a good person. 😊

Our is coming along! 🤍 We refinished all lower windows! Painted, caulked & resealed the bottoms to prevent any leaks. 😊 That is one of the most important things when dealing with these older (circa 1890!) beautiful, New Orleans homes…because as you may know, water damage is sometimes unseen…& because we cherish our clients….I don’t ignore the unseen.

We love this dainty tile transition we did from the bathroom to the kitchen at our 🖤🤍 This was a classic that the owner was renovating so she could rent it. 🖤🤍

The owner was in her 70’s & she was just the sweetest, most stylish, quick witted & wise woman…she never missed a beat & never left the house unless she was dressed to the nines. 🤍 My type of gal! 🖤🤍 Happy Friday friends!
