Pt.6 Refinishing and Restoring a solid cedar wood, front patio, surrounding walls, trim, window frames, baseboards, inside door entrances, and wood panel covered ceilings, with built in sky lights, and encased, window frames. Got to do this time consuming job with my very talented son, who is a 5th generation, refinisher, and restoration apprentice! This job came out so beautiful, and I felt so blessed to be able to work alongside my son, and finish this project together. What a great opportunity it was for me to teach, and for him to learn, and accomplishing this together, which was no easy task. Cant even begin to tell you how tedious this job was, which required countless man hours,and more sanding than anyone would ever want to do, in their lifetime lol! Especially all of the overhead ceiling work, not to mention the heat this summer was no joke. 💯✅🫡🤣🤣🥵 overall what a great experience I got to have with my son, and we are very proud of all the hard work, that had such a beautiful outcome

An old cedar front porch that I have stripped and sanded, replaced rotten wood, stained, and sprayed clear coated 4 times, with Marine Varnish. Water resistant and UV and coming out very nice. More sections I’m posting after this part 1!

I recently had the privilege of refurbishing a marble stool for a valued client, bringing it back to its former glory with careful attention to detail and a passion for revitalizing beauty. It was a pleasure to work together and bring new life to this stunning piece!

Just wanted to share a piece of the type of stuff that I came across that I had a bit of a challenge doing during this job. Well… one of them anyhow. Lol!

Have to say these very dark blemishes were very challenging to hand draw and blend them, until they almost faded away! I’m happy with the outcome and so were they.

Some before and during and right after photos of 12x4ft conference tables just recently did

Been working on 2 very large conference tables at the old grey hound bus station in New Orleans and I gotta say, these are probably the two largest tables I’ve ever worked on before without leaves in it, or separations somewhere. 2 12ftx4ft conference tables that had lots of damage to say the least. Had to come back behind some people that attempted to do this job and failed, and went through the veneer and almost did in so many more places I was barely even able to sand it myself without destroying it completely. It’s not perfect and never will be unless it gets new veneer, but they wanted me to go as far as I could without doing so and they are tickled pink! I am finishing up my last day today and will post finished before and afters! This was definitely challenging to say the least!💯🫡🫶🏽🤕🦾

Finished a dining room table for a customer of mine, and finally able to get it out to him. Trying to finish up old jobs I’ve been having that have been hard to complete, after my wife passing, and losing employees due to covid, but little by little gaining progress! Thankful for the small victories, one at a time, day by day!

Remembering when my dad helped me deliver this beautiful hologram finished table that took me forever, for a very important customer, and how proud he was of my work that he wanted to be in the picture next to me. It was a very proud moment, after completing this piece, and also having a picture of the last time he got to go on a delivery. ❤️
