Our summer Bridge students are making progress towards their literacy goals as well! We are so proud of all our students engaged in summer learning experiences to grow and achieve their goals!

Our students LEVELED up their learning by achieving their goals. We celebrated their success with our end of the year award ceremonies. We also continued our teacher and staff appreciation era with donut breakfast from the PTO, gifts from Church of the King, and room service snacks by our 5th grade student leaders. Our teachers and staff make Bridgedale shimmer and our students shine!

Thank you to our beagle parent, Ms. Dorsey, and grandparent who designed and created the balloon display and backdrop.

It was Game On to celebrate students and staff accomplishments! Congratulations to our TOP Dog students of the month and teachers with perfect attendance! We are also proud of Rewards for Reading winners and all our staff who promote a love of reading and build literacy skills each day. Keep achieving your goals and finishing strong!

In Our Teacher & Staff Appreciation Era at Bridgedale celebrating our amazing beagle faculty who lead students to achieve their goals every day! On Friday, our teachers and staff enjoyed a friendship bracelet challenge, nacho bar, and Nothing Bundt Cake sweet treat! Thank our awesome PTO and parent volunteers who coordinated and served our nacho bar for the faculty! We appreciate you all!

It was Game On with Field Trip and Farm Fun this week! Check out our students who participated in the Red Barn Farm, creative art experiences, LEAP incentive field trips, and picnic and play in the park! Thank you to our teachers, staff, and students for their hard work this year to celebrate. We appreciate our beagle families for trusting us to educate and enrich your students!

Congratulations to our beagle fifth grader Janelle M. on winning the Yearbook Cover Art Contest! Her artistic talent is featured on the 24-25 yearbook for all to enjoy!

It was Game On with our student leaders this week! Our fifth grade beagle big buddies engaged kindergarten students in literacy and math learning experiences to achieve their outcomes and develop independence and critical thinking skills.

LET'S MOVE ON UP! Moving On Up will be held on Monday, May 13th @ 5:30pm. All CURRENT PK-4th grade families will prepare for the 24-25 school year!

It’s Game On to get students and families ready for the next level of learning by meeting the teachers and learning the expectations, summer preparation resources, and exploring more about the upcoming school year!

Beagle Science Scholars in Action!
In this exploration, fifth grade students created a chemical change by combining a yeast mixture with hydrogen peroxide and dish soap. The resulting foam (“elephant’s toothpaste”) demonstrates a chemical reaction that “exploded” in student learning and engagement!
Students were continuing their progress toward mastery of the standard, 5-PS1-4: Conduct an investigation to determine whether the mixing of two or more substances results in new substances.

Did you know that yoga improves student academic performance and emotional regulation? First grade beagle students engaged in yoga and meditation during their brain break to calm their bodies and minds, improve focus and self control, and promote mindfulness.

It was Game On at Bridgedale for School Lunch Hero Day. Our school nutrition and food service team is heroic! And our students know it, too. Our cafeteria team serves students important breakfast and lunch meals each and every day. Today, we celebrated our beagle cafeteria team today with our art and notes about what students love most about our cafeteria team to recognize their dedication and hard work.
Students even had the opportunity to put on hair nets and experience a day in the life of a cafeteria professional!

Congratulations to our Beagle LEAP Connect students on EXCEEDING THEIR GOALS! We are proud of your hard work and success. Thank you to our amazing LEAP Connect team, led by Ms. Monica and Ms. Lacie!

Students are ready to LEVEL UP on their LEAP assessment and achieve their goals. We celebrated our 3rd-5th graders this week with a LEAP parade and quiz bowl rally to motivate them to "LEAP" toward success. Let's go beagles!

It was GAME ON today to celebrate the best bus driver operators and show them our beagle love and appreciation!

Thank you Bridgedale bus drivers for creating a positive bus experience for our students by transporting them to and from school each day!

Happy Public School Volunteer Week! Thank you to all our beagle volunteers who support our students, teachers and staff at Bridgedale! You all are amazing at making Bridgedale a special place for everyone!

It was Game on in kindergarten with math minds at work! Students in Ms. Tabor’s math class demonstrated mastery of counting and arranging objects (K.CC.5) due to high quality models, collaborative activities and use of students to “teach” and explain their thinking to peers.

Shout to our beagle Science scholars working towards mastery of their goals! Check out Ms. Hunter's third grade students testing and observing electric and magnetic forces to record how magnetic forces affect different objects. Ms. Lusignan's fifth grade students were analyzing how human actions affect the environment and how to protect Earth's natural resources to generate solutions.

Game On in first grade Math! Students worked collaboratively and engaged in productive discussions to compose composite shapes and describe shapes using their attributes.

We will be having CAMP INVENTION, an amazing STEM CAMP at Bridgedale this summer the week of July 15th led by our own beagle, Ms. Jones, camp director! We have some special summer discount codes for families who register soon!

Check out our fourth grade Science scholars in action for the Disturbing Water lab! They were working towards mastery by developing a model of waves to describe patterns in terms of amplitude and wavelength and to show that waves can cause objects to move. Keep leveling up beagles!

Beagles, tomorrow, Friday, April 5th is National Wear Red Day. Students in grades 1-5 can pay $1.00 to the American Heart Association to wear a RED SHIRT. PK and K students must wear their purple shirts. Let's fight heart disease together!

A BIG BEAGLE thank you to our amazing paraprofessionals! They inspire, lead, and support students each day through their excellence and teamwork. We appreciate you every day!

A big shout out to our amazing beagle students. They worked hard to make progress toward their goals today and then celebrated with snowballs in the beautiful weather at the end of the day. Check out some of our 4th grade students who enjoyed reading their library books outside during the snowball afternoon.

Beagles leveled up with learning and fun at STEM Night! Students made constellations using marshmallows, identified vertices and edges building snowflakes, explored life cycles through a dig, engaged in a shake and spill math game, created dice to build and solve math equations, and more.

Shout out to our students and families for attending and our amazing team of teachers and staff who planned and organized learning experiences for the night!

It's Game On during WIN Time! Beagles are developing phonemic awareness by segmenting and blending the sounds in words. Students use Elkonin Boxes, colored popsicle stick, and other engaging learning tools to build the foundations to become strong readers!

What are Elkonin Boxes? Elkonin boxes build phonological awareness skills by segmenting words into individual sounds, or phonemes. To use Elkonin boxes, students listen to a word and move an object into a box for each sound or phoneme.
