A 5-Star Accredited Chamber representing almost 1000 companies in Greater New Orleans. The Chamber is a private, non-profit membership driven organization.
Founded in 1997, the Jefferson Chamber has worked to create an ideal place to work and live. A Board of Directors sets the Chamber’s policies and directives.
This morning, the Jefferson Chamber hosted our Business & Breakfast event at Boulevard American Bistro in Elmwood! Participants enjoyed a delicious breakfast spread while engaging in two 20-minute speed networking sessions. The energy was high as connections were made and ideas were exchanged.

Our Prosper Jefferson seminar on ‘Refreshing Your Brand’, hosted in partnership with Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO), was a success!

The Jefferson Chamber, in partnership with the Jefferson Convention & Visitors Bureau (Visit Jefferson Parish), hosted a Business Card Exchange at NOLA Motorsports Park, presented by the New Orleans Saints and Pelicans!
Participants enjoyed an evening of light appetizers, drinks, and building connections. There was also an opportunity for a friendly competition of racing at the go-kart track! It was the perfect blend of business and fun!

Our Education and Workforce Development Committee met this morning at Gulf Wind Technology, located in Avondale! Committee members enjoyed a presentation from David King, Chief Technology Officer, and Mitchel Graff, Chief Operations Officer at Gulf Wind Technology. The meeting concluded with a tour of the facility. It was a fantastic opportunity to see firsthand the innovative work being done in Jefferson Parish!

Our Leadership Jefferson Class of 2025 completed their opening retreat held at the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry - LABI! Participants learned about the Emergenetics of their brains and how we all work together as structural, analytical, social, or conceptual leaders. They explored their individual leadership abilities and the application of those abilities in a team environment. The class also enjoyed dinner together at Jubans Restaurant.
This retreat was the start of a journey toward developing new leadership skills, stepping outside comfort zones, and building new friendships. We can’t wait to see how this class grows!

Jefferson Parish Transit and Paratransit services have been restored. Regular Paratransit services have resumed within Jefferson Parish only. Please note, there will be no same-day services provided to any other parish until Jefferson Parish confirms that roads are cleared for safe travel. Jefferson Parish Transit’s top priority is the safety of their employees and riders, as a precaution, buses will travel at reduced speeds and will treat all main intersections as four-way stops. Generator exhaust contains carbon monoxide which cannot be seen, smelled, or heard. Avoid a trip to the hospital or worse by practicing these safety tips:
✅Only use it outside - at least 20 feet away from your home and garage
✅ Establish a perimeter around it to ensure proper ventilation
✅ Point its exhaust away from your home and garage
✅ Allow at least 20 minutes of cool down time before refueling it
✅ Do not refuel it or store its gasoline/diesel/propane indoors
