I had an 12:15 appointment with Dr Harris for tooth extraction. They took me early and from the time I went into the procedure room until I left was only about 10minutes. I can’t speak highly enough about Dr Harris and his staff, from the front desk to the Dr and his assistant. No pain at all. Also I received a little bag with my prescriptions and instructions along with lagniappe, a writing pen and lip gloss. If you want a wonderful Dr And staff then you better go see Dr Harris or one of his associates. I give them 100 stars.

It is with great pleasure and excitement that we introduce the newest member of our team, Daniel Hyneman DDS, MD. We have known Dan for many years and have been eagerly waiting for him to join us. His dedication to high level clinical care and his humble and personable demeanor make him an excellent resource for the care of our patients.

Dan hails from Arizona where his interest in dentistry was sparked from an early age by his father who practiced dentistry for over 30 years. Dan completed his dental training at the University of Colorado where he was named the valedictorian of his class. He then made his way to New Orleans where he completed his medical degree and residency training at LSU.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Associates is a growing oral surgery practice based in Metairie, LA. Our mission is to establish and maintain our practice as the premier oral and maxillofacial surgical office in the Greater New Orleans region and beyond.

Our goal is to treat every patient as family from the initial contact through follow-up and beyond. In order to offer our patients the best possible treatment, we strive to hire the best possible employees.

We are seeking a team member that thrives in a fast-paced environment, is team oriented, and is dedicated to practicing the highest quality of patient care. Effective communication skills, an enthusiastic personality, honesty, and willingness to treat every patient like they are a VIP is a must.

Job responsibilities include implementation of sterilization processes; preparation of surgical rooms with instruments, equipment and supplies; gathering and recording medical history; taking panoramic x-rays and CT scans; first and second assisting in surgical procedures; reading a cardiac monitor; and staying calm and efficient during a medical crisis and stressful situations.

This is a full-time position, 8am-5pm Mondays and Wednesdays, 8am-4pm Tuesdays and Thursdays, and 8am-2:30pm on Fridays.

I wish I could give a hundred stars because 5 just doesn't even come close to the WONDERFUL experience of care and compassion that I was given by the ENTIRE staff! Wow! If anyone reading this suffers from true anxiety, please keep reading. Dr. Harris took the time to explain everything in detail and was kind enough to respect my neurotic questions and concerns, which is a tell tale sign of anxiety, putting all my fears to rest. His personality and light hearted sense of humor is the perfect recipe for patients like me!!! I was there for 2 extractions, and I can tell you that it was over with so fast, I had to ask him if he did both teeth!!! No joke. He is an absolute Godsend for older anxious people and I can tell you without hesitation, that because of him, I have overcome my fear of ever having to take a shot or getting another tooth pulled! I could go on and on about how wonderful he is, and at all his accomplishments, but in the interest of time, I will close in saying Thank you Dr. Daniel Harris for being so wonderful and taking such an interest in me and all your patients! "I recommend Dr. Harris without conditions or qualifications. I've seen him going on a dozen times (I'm older, with truly lousy teeth after a lifetime of grinding them at night) and he is the most personable, professional and skilled oral surgeon in the city or state. Maybe the U.S. He is amazing: he starts what I expect will be a painful procedure with a shot of lidocaine that I never even feel. No shot agony! Then the whole visit is just fine, no pain. I'm guessing his loads of training and experience (he teaches other professionals) make him super capable but he's also funny, he listens (unlike so many doctors), and his office is really convenient with lots of parking.
