Meet our sponsor ⭐️Esther Armendaiz This powerhouse Goddess is the founder and CEO of . Esther has been teaching for over 20 years. Her sports background is based on strong ballet and gymnastics programs, as well as many other athletic activities. She began her fitness studies in Boston,
MA, before earning certifications with Polestar Pilates Germany & USA, the National Academy of Sports
Medicine (NASM) for CPT Personal Training and CES Corrective Exercise, and the Aerobics and Fitness
Association of America (AFAA) for Group Exercise Instruction. Esther is also certified by Total Barre,
SCHWINN Indoor Cycle, SSC Fitness Yoga, CORE Mama Pre-Post Natal, and Group Power.
Her participation in several conventions include World Spinning, Sports & Pilates Conventions, East
Coast Alliance, IDEA, REEBOK Resolution, the American Heart Association Health & Fitness Expos,
workshops provided by FITOUR, American Council of Exercise, and the CHEK Institute, among others.
Her commitment to the importance of physical fitness and well being is demonstrated by the high caliber
and variety of her classes, as well as her personal attention to students.
Among other fitness institutions, Esther teaches at the University of Miami Medical Campus, instructing
group exercise classes for medical students and research doctors. She has international experience
teaching workshops and master classes in Europe, USA and Mexico.

Meet your host🌹Thaïs Creegan is undoubtedly as unique as her name. This alluring Venezuelan began competing in Rhythmic Gymnastics at the age of 5. Her first love, dance, led her to the Gustavo Franklin School of Ballet. After completing 9 years of Ballet, Thaïs became interested in health and fitness. Desire, determination, and hard work led her to grab 1st Place in Joe Weider's Muscle Weekend IV Bodybuilding Championships in 1986. She continued to broaden her horizons in dance, studying Jazz, Contemporary, and Hip Hop
at the A.A. Escuela de Danza, owned by renowned choreographer and dancer Anita Vivas and former Cirque du Soleil performer artist Antonio Drijas, while finishing her Associate Degree in Science.

Always a risk-taker, Thaïs moved to Miami in 1996 to pursue a full-time career as a dancer. She's performed on ESPN International and Telemundo, in music videos, and with musicians including Will Smith, Chayanne, La India, Freddie Colloca, and Prince (Glam Slam) amongst others. Her fitness journey continued as well. In 1996, she took 4th Place at the Ms. Fitness America Pageant in Redondo Beach and was also crowned Ms. Fitness New York.

In 1998, ThaÏs's career took a turn when she discovered the former Middle Eastern Dance Exchange under the direction of Tamalyn Dallal. She began her training in Arab Dance and Culture with Bozenka and Maria Jamal. From 2006 to 2008 she joined The Mcintyre Institute and had numerous solo performances at their annual production Called2dance, Chapters III, IV, and V. She also studied with Delou Africa, performing at their 8th Annual African Diaspora Dance & Drum Festival of Florida.

Guided by her insatiable curiosity, Thaïs has studied the Burdenko Method and the Hydrorider and Hydrorevolution Systems. She also graduated from Educating Hands School of Massage.

She is the founder of the Miami Belly Dance Retreat and has been part of the team of wellness professionals at the Carillon Miami Wellness Resort for the past 8 years.
