Today we remember my father Mario Abanto, the founder of El Chalán and Chalán on the Beach. He passed away 10 years ago today and we always have him in our thoughts. Thank you for all that you did for your family and community.

Hoy recordamos a mi padre Mario Abanto, el fundador de El Chalán y Chalán on the Beach. Fallecio hace 10 años hoy y siempre lo tenemos en nuestros pensamientos. Gracias por todo tu esfuerzo para tu familia y comunidad.

We miss you and we hope you were also missing the Chalan on the Beach experience! As of May 8,2020 we will be open for Takeout and Delivery. We are now using Ubereats, Postmates, and Grubhub. We also have a local delivery company that can assist if you prefer.

Hello Chalán on the Beach family. Regrettably we have had to temporarily close for now. We look forward to reopening as soon as we can. Please do all you can to follow the health guidelines that have been provided. If we all do our part then Miami Beach businesses will recover sooner.

Chalán on the Beach Congratulates France on winning the World Cup Championship! It was a privilege to watch this entire tournament that captures the attention of the World for 1 month every 4 years. We hope that the leaders of the world agree that countries should only try to beat the other in sports. And now we begin the long wait for Qatar 2022. Until next time!
