Schools will be closed on Thursday 9/7 and Friday 9/8 to allow families & employees to prepare for . All extracurricular, athletic activities & adult night classes are canceled starting Wed. 9/6. After-school care will remain open until 6 p.m. District officials will continue to provide updates as ’s projected path, possible impact to South Florida become more predictable. The BGEC PTSA will hold their last uniform sale for this school year! The sale will be held tomorrow, June 7th at the main campus in the elementary cafe beginning at 4:00 PM- 7:00 PM. Come and stock up for next year and get a 10% discount off your entire purchase!!

Dolphins Host Hometown Huddle In Partnership With PACER Wednesday is National Unity Day, the signature event of National Bullying Prevention Month, so the students at BGEC had the chance to hear a message on the topic, encouraging them to wear orange to mark the occasion.

Don't forget! the Town is offering FREE shuttle service to and from park for tonight's event:

Parking around Picnic Park West perimeter is limited, we are encouraging all residents to walk or bike to the Park. The Town will also be providing free shuttle service from two locations beginning at 5:30pm:

Town Hall located at 6601 Main Street- Shuttle service will run every 20 minutes continuously until 8:00 pm.

Royal Oaks Park, located at 16500 NW 87th Avenue- Shuttle service will run every 10 minutes continuously until 8:00 pm

Shuttle service will resume at the conclusion of the fireworks show. The last bus will depart Picnic Park West at 11:00 pm.

Please note, fireworks, sparklers, and pets are not permitted on the shuttle or in Picnic Park West.
