What is PCOS?
Polycystic O***y Syndrome, is a common hormonal disorder that goes widely undetected and treated due to its complexity and irregularity of symptoms.
Some common signs of PCOS (some, not all, may apply):
Irregular Menstrual Cycles: Women with PCOS often experience irregular or infrequent menstrual periods. This is due to irregular ovulation or, in some cases, a lack of ovulation.
Infertility: PCOS interferes with fertility by blocking monthly ovulation.
Hyperandrogenism (Elevated Male Hormones): Elevated levels of hormones such as DHEA and testosterone.
Hyperandrogenism: Elevated levels of androgens (male hormones) can cause symptoms such as acne, hirsutism (excessive hair growth, particularly on the face), and male-pattern baldness.
Polycystic Ovaries: The ovaries may appear enlarged and contain small follicles, which are fluid-filled sacs that surround the eggs.
Insulin Resistance: Many individuals with PCOS have insulin resistance, a condition in which the body's cells do not respond properly to insulin. This can lead to the development of type 2 diabetes.
Metabolic Issues: PCOS is often associated with metabolic disturbances, including obesity, elevated cholesterol levels, and an increased risk of developing cardiovascular disease.

Fire Cider Recipe🔥🤧
This medicinal cider recipe is by far the best I have come across for allergies, the flu, common colds, coughs, all of it!
1. Grate the horseradish. Add it to a 1.5-2 qt sized jar along with the sliced ginger, turmeric, jalapenos, onion, orange, lemon, and garlic. Then, add the fresh herbs, cinnamon sticks, and peppercorns.
2. Pour the apple cider vinegar into the jar, making sure all the ingredients are fully covered. Add more ACV as needed to cover the ingredients (this prevents the ingredients from spoiling).
3. Seal the jar. Use a piece of parchment paper under the lid to keep the vinegar from touching the metal, or a plastic lid if you have one
4. Shake the jar to combine the ingredients and store the jar in a dark, cool place for up to 4 weeks. Remember to shake the jar once daily to mix the ingredients.
5. After a month, use a fine-mesh strainer or cheesecloth to strain out the pulp and solid ingredients. Squeeze as much liquid out of the ingredients as you can.
6. Stir in the honey until it is incorporated. Taste and add more honey to reach your desired sweetness.
7. Store sealed in an airtight jar. Keep in the refrigerator or in a dry, cool place for up to 6 months.
8. Enjoy 1-2 tablespoons daily or use the fire tonic when cooking!

1. Estrogens: Such as in birth control pills and hormone replacement therapy can cause high levels of T4 and T3. This is because estrogens increase the level of the binding proteins. To avoid a misinterpretation, ask for TSH and free T4 to be tested as well, which will typically be in normal range.
2. Biotin (vitamin B7): May cause the measurement of several thyroid function tests to appear abnormal when they are in fact normal in the blood. Avoid taking biotin at least 2 days before blood is drawn.
3. Propranolol: This beta-blocker, blood pressure medication reduces TSH levels in the blood.
4. Prednisone: Much like estrogens, prednisone increases the amount of thyroid binding proteins. Check your free T3 and T4 levels in this case.
