What one may see here is a before and after of a , the removal of excess from the eyelids. But oculoplastic surgery is much more than that. Here, I repositioned fat to make the eyelids look fuller. I redefined the eyelid crease for a clean finish. I lifted the right side just a millimeter to better match the eyelid height on the left.
The may be a small part of your face but they are extremely complex and guard one of the most important structures in our body, our eyes. Oculoplastic surgeons are specifically trained to handle these delicate structures.

This patient had a cancer (basal cell) involving her lower lid. Our local Mohs surgeon removed it and i reconstructed the defect using a semicircular flap (Tenzel flap). Here she is 4 weeks out already looking great! Take this as a reminder to protect your face against the sun when outdoors!

Too cute not to share! This sweet lady came to me for a second opinion with a rare problem. It took some deep digging but the answer was there in her medical history. As my medical school taught me, listen to your patient and they will give you the diagnosis. It’s right every time. Then she shows up today with this super trendy balloon! How cute?!!

Can you tell what was done? I love small changes that create an overall more refreshed appearance. I spent most of the year thinking I was already 34 turning 35 so this revelation was a nice surprise 😂 Celebrated over the weekend with the fiancé and will be celebrating today with family (then friends later this month!) Feeling so lucky to be alive, healthy, and surrounded by love ❤️

Subtle, Natural ✨
This patient had never done any cosmetic procedures before. She wanted her lips to feel rejuvenated but feared looking overdone. We added a small amount of Restylane Kysse while still preserving her natural lip contour. This gave her a little lift and hydration that we were both pleased with.
