The driver stopped her car and got out long enough to prop the stroller back up and put the baby in the seat — and then fled.

She left “the baby alone in the middle of the intersection and the mom bleeding from her skull,” the family’s lawyer Judd Rosen told The Post Tuesday.

Born and raised in Miami, Kent Burlington has deep ties to the South Florida Community. His legal inspiration stemmed from his father, Bob Burlington, who has practiced commercial litigation in Miami for over 40 years.
Mr. Burlington attended law school at Florida International University, earning Dean’s List honors and excelling in his Evidence, Civil Procedure, and Secured Transaction courses. His desire to become a litigator drove him to join the Goldberg & Rosen team as a law clerk at the start of his 2L year. As a second and third year law student Mr. Burlington worked at Goldberg & Rosen under the Rosen brothers.
Kent has played an integral role in several large cases throughout his career, and is currently litigating cases involving premise liability, products liability, automobile collisions, and wrongful death. He has developed his courtroom and trial skills at an accelerated rate with tremendous experience for a young attorney. Mr. Burlington wants to make our community a better place and help those individuals who suffer serious injury or loss due to negligence. He is fearless in achieving his goals and adding tremendous value to the Goldberg & Rosen team.

Khristopher Ryan Salado, or “Salado” as his friends call him, is a Cuban-American attorney with close ties to the South Florida community. Born and raised in Miami, FL, he prides himself on being a “local product.” He graduated with honors from Florida International University before graduating Magna Cum Laude from St. Thomas University School of Law with a Certificate in Tax Law.
While in law school, he interned at Goldberg and Rosen, P.A. and played an integral part of a jury trial that resulted in a five million dollar ($5,000,000.00) verdict. He received multiple Dean’s List Awards and was awarded the CALI Award of Excellence in Legal Analysis & Writing, Advanced Legal Research & Writing, and Legal Accounting. He served on the Executive Board for the St. Thomas Law Review, the Moot Court Board, and the Cuban American Student Bar Association. He competed in the Jerome Prince Moot Court Competition on Evidence twice, coached in the San Diego Criminal Procedure Moot Court Competition, and was initiated into the prestigious Order of the Barristers for his excellence in oral advocacy.
As an active member of the community, he completed over fifty pro bono hours and constantly finds ways to help others. He has been recognized in the South Florida Business Journal’s “People On The Move” section and is very involved in the founding of the Brickell Bar Association. Salado is dedicated to helping people of all walks of life who have been wrongfully harmed by others. His practice focuses on personal injury litigation involving medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and complex products liability.

Mustafa Dandashly is a Lebanese-American attorney who prides himself on devoted, thorough, and professional representation of his clients. Mr. Dandashly focuses his practice on serious personal injury cases. As an attorney in the firm’s litigation department, Mr. Dandashly is heavily involved in the firm’s federal litigation practice, as well as the litigation of wrongful death, medical malpractice, and civil rights cases. He takes a particular interest in representing seriously injured clients in maritime cases, including cases involving the Death on the High Seas Act, the Limitation of Liability Act, and the Jones Act.

Mr. Dandashly is a graduate of Florida International University College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Dandashly was a member of the FIU Law Review. He also worked for General Electric at GE’s Global Research Center, with a focus on patent and trademark issues for emerging technologies. Mr. Dandashly obtained his undergraduate degree at the University of South Florida and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in political science.
Mr. Dandashly is admitted to practice in Florida and in the Federal District Court for the Southern District of Florida.

Ms. Ortega is a Miami-native with deep roots in the Hispanic community. After graduating from Saint Brendan High School in 2005, Ms. Ortega enrolled in Florida International University where she was an active member of the Phi Kappa Phi Academic Honor Society and the Delta Epsilon Iota Academic Honor Society. Ms. Ortega graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Biological Sciences.
After working at Goldberg & Rosen, P.A. for several years, she attended law school at the University of Miami Law School, she joined the firm as an associate handling complex litigation matter, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and products liability cases. Ms. Ortega is an active member of the Cuban American Bar Association and the American Bar Association. In December of 2017, Ms. Ortega passed the United States Patent and Trademark Office Bar Exam and is currently heading up the new Intellectual Property practice at Goldberg & Rosen.

Jocelyn Santana has years of experience representing the injured families of South Florida. As a Partner at Goldberg & Rosen, she has secured multi-million dollar verdicts and personal injury settlements for her clients. Ms. Santana focuses her practice on representing plaintiffs in cases involving wrongful deaths, catastrophic injuries, traumatic brain injuries, premise liability, auto accidents, and medical malpractice.

Brett Rosen is driven by a passion for justice, and an unwavering belief that life is our most precious commodity.
