On Friday February 18th, Hannah Lee Fowler filed for divorce in a Tennessee court from Sam Hunt. She alleged that Sam Hunt committed adultery and that while the parties didn’t have any children, she was pregnant and expecting in May. In her petition she also asked for alimony. 3 hours later, however, she withdrew her petition for divorce without prejudice. This means that she can file for divorce again in the future.

Someone is happy they are divorced!

Jalen Rose announced sadly that he and ESPN co-worker Molly Qerim will be getting divorced after 3 years together. The split happened back in January and is apparently amicable.

Kara Ross, wife of Stephen Ross, Dolphins owner and developer, filed for divorce in the Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday after 18 years of marriage. Sources say the split is amicable and the couple signed a prenuptial agreement. According to the agreement she is not entitled to any interest in the Dolphins franchise or any other business holdings such as shares of Soul Cycle and Equinox. However, she may still be entitled to $300 mm.

Ray J is filing for divorce from his wife Princess Love for now a third time! Recall that Ray J was one of the earlier Covid-19 divorce victims last year when Princess Love filed in May. They reconciled but then were put back on the Covid-19 divorce victim list in September when this time Ray J filed. They seemingly reconciled again but that reconciliation was short lived. Ray J has now filed for divorce for a second time. This will be the third time divorce filings have been filed. We’ll see if they go forward with it this time. The parties have two children and there is a prenuptial agreement.

Covid-19 divorce victim update: Dr. Dre was ordered to pay nearly $300k in spousal support. Not sure for how long but typically she would lose that award if she were to remarry. $300k is better than the $2mm/month she initially asked for.

According to an article written in PageSix.com, a Manhattan judge on Tuesday ripped Lamar Odom for failing to pony up on child support payments — after participating in a celebrity boxing match that his ex claims netted him a $40,000 paycheck.
“If Mr. Odom is in good enough shape to participate in a boxing match, he’s certainly in good enough shape to abide by his obligations to support his children as set forth in the settlement agreement,” Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Matthew Cooper said during a video hearing — which the former Los Angeles Laker did not attend.

Odom was sued last month by ex-gal pal Liza Morales, who claims the athlete hasn’t honored a 2015 settlement agreement over their two children since June 2020.

Morales’ lawyer, Abraham Borenstein, told the judge that Odom hasn’t been paying child support and he owes her over $91,000 through July.
“I’m disappointed that payments ceased,” Cooper said.
Borenstein also said Odom’s fallen behind on nearly $83,000 rent for a West Street apartment in Lower Manhattan, where Morales lives with their kids — prompting the landlord to start an eviction case against her.

Odom also owes nearly $24,000 for college application fees and room and board for their children, according to the lawyer. And the ex-NBA star allegedly drained bank accounts that each held over $68,000 that was set aside for college tuition, Borenstein added.

After 11 years of marriage and being together for 16 years, Carmelo Anthony and La La Anthony have reportedly decided to divorce. The couple initially separated in 2017 amid rumors of infidelity by Carmelo but attempted to reconcile. The divorce appears amicable and the parties intend to remain friends and co-parent for their 14-year-old son.
