It’s the entire reason I’ve embarked on this project in the first place- i love making art, but it’s the feeling of color and light and pattern on your skin that inspires dancing and movement and an active life out in the world among friends and family that has a different resonance for me. Designs created in Miami , expert artisans carrying out the printing process with table size silkscreens in India, more skill, precision, and technical know-how to create patterns and sew the garments. This process is truly awe-inspiring, giving me the utmost appreciation for the things we wear everyday. Total respect for everyone engaged in this process along the way! Located at the Jungle Plaza (outdoors), come shop 100+ makers, check out the DIY stations, take photos at their photo walls, enjoy a drink at the bar, eat delicious food, and fill your free tote with goods from small businesses and artisans! Over the past year, I’ve been taking the minute and the minuscule and channeling the tiny observations presented to me by tiny hands (namely those of my two little children) into designs that celebrate the spectacular in the oh so ordinary.
Rocks. Caterpillar. Snails. Patterns on the algae covered limestone steps leading up to my front door. These moments become something that I’ve always craved my artwork could become- designs meant for regular people enamored by the constellation of weird and beautiful things that we GET to SEE and experience in our EVERYDAY lives.

Tranqui Prints are about celebrating the wild and wonderful place I am from - in colors, patterns, and prints that speak my native tongue.

A new collection of socks, shorts, and accessories adorned with my print designs are in the works, and I can’t wait to share the funkiness with you.
