Production Outlook - 12-8
Asparagus production continues to decrease in southern Baja due to seasonality. Caborca production is also low due to cooler temperatures.
Larger sizes are extremely limited in all regions. Peruvian production has dropped due to field transition from the southern to the northern growing regions.
Markets are extremely active with less production from all regions. We will share more updates as they develop.
Thank you for your continued support.

Production Outlook - 11-16
Rain and early frost in Georgia has ended their growing season early.
The transition into northern Florida is also slow due to typical end of summer rain and Hurricane Idalia hitting the growing areas in August.
Guatemala is also experiencing short supply due to weather and cooler temperatures.
We typically see extremely active markets due to the Thanksgiving holiday which hasnโt helped the supply chain.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
The Harvest Sensations Team.

Production Outlook - 10-16
Asparagus continues to be limited from all growing regions. Most of the production in Mexico is in southern Baja right now. Northern Baja has started to close fields due to seasonality, and the Sonora Desert has started opening fields in the higher elevations.
Peru is still at 50% of their normal volume for this season due to El Niรฑo, and volume will not increase until the north starts opening fields in about 2-3 weeks.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
The Harvest Sensations Team.

Production Outlook Alert - 10-13 ๐ฌ๐น
Produce exports from Guatemala have been severely impacted by the political unrest in the country. The ongoing protests and demonstrations have caused roadblocks to the farms, packing houses, and all shipping ports. This situation has resulted in significant financial losses for farmers and has led to a decrease in the availability of fresh produce both in Guatemala, and internationally.
The political instability has caused many maritime, and logistic companies to change their operational strategy in the region.
We will keep you informed for future updates.
We appreciate your continued support.
Sincerely,
The Harvest Sensations Team.

Production Outlook Alert - 9-28 ๐ซ
Peru is the major supplier of Blueberries from mid-September into early 2024. The weather phenomenon that has affected production in most exportable crops has also affected the Peruvian Blueberries. To offset this loss of production, Argentina, which had been the major supplier of Blueberries to USA from September-December, has been attempting to increase their shipments to USA.
Argentina will continue to help offset the shortage, but their production will be low for the next few weeks due to low temperatures and rainy conditions. They will have increased production in 2 to 3 weeks.
Regardless, Argentina will not have enough volume to cover the shortfall that Peru is experiencing.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
The Harvest Sensations Team.

Production Outlook Alert - 9-1
Mexican Asparagus remains very limited due to seasonality and weather conditions. Despite efforts to increase supply, availability is still very limited. Demand for asparagus, especially of Large, X-Large and Jumbo sizes, will continue to exceed supply for the next several weeks. It should also be noted that quality of available supply is fair at best due to heat affecting supply.
The northern growing region in Peru is also experiencing heavy volumes of small and standard production.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
The Harvest Sensations Team.

Production Outlook Alert - 8-31
Mexico's weather conditions have greatly affected Herb production, and also French Beans and Green Beans. With the storms and unpredictable patterns, farmers across the region have been struggling to maintain healthy crops.
The excessive rainfall has led to poor soil conditions, which are detrimental to the growth of both Basil and Beans. In addition, the fluctuations in temperature have made it difficult for these Herbs to thrive, as they require specific climatic conditions.
Thank you for your continued support.
