Speaking about simplicity, one of the first great things we came up with was selling every bowl for the same price. This would allow our customers to know how much they are going to spend before they come by; no matter what combination they want order. All that was left, or so we thought, was to start cooking and tasting.Our tastings were coming out so great that we decided to open our doors for short hours, let people try it and see their reactions.

Way too many people told us it's the best hummus they’ve ever had! I even had a customer who told me he doesn’t like hummus, I smiled and offered a taste. He became a regular and eats a bowl 2-3 times a week. It’s amazing how great hummus can turn a hummus-cynic into a hummus-lover.

Shortly after, we added quinoa as a base. When we mixed hummus and quinoa, it was as great as mixing peanut butter and jelly. That’s when the half/half bowls were born. Suddenly from two flavors we had three bases that you could pick from, and all of them were delicious.

Everyday we would get customers asking for salads, many thought we were actually a salad bar. That’s when it hit us. Why not? We already have everything we need to top it off, it fits our concept, plus tahini is a great salad dressing. But one dressing is not enough for salad fans, so we had to come up with new ones. That’s when Danny had an epiphany, and the tahini-based dressing idea came about.

Every new flavor was unique and exquisite. Roasted red pepper, cilantro lime jalapeño, fire roasted eggplant, and balsamic beet tahinis. Just typing them makes me drool. Best part was, they all go amazing on top of everything, not just the salads. As soon as we put them on display, they started flying to the point that we had to begin selling them in to-go containers, because customers couldn’t get enough of them. Moreover, we also needed natural, healthy, and affordable drinks that matched our concept. Off the shelf products like coke and snapple wouldn’t be enough.

After a lot of research, we found what we were looking for. Now we have delicious, organic, non-GMO, natural sodas and slushies that come in many flavors. Among them we have sweet tea, lemonade, cucumber, coconut, blood orange, lemongrass and cinnamon kola.

This is our story, still in its beginning pages, our customers have joined us in the tastings and experienced the creation of our menu and the growth of our brand. They have been our greatest fuel, our biggest source of inspiration, and our instant gratification.
