The HR Assistant role provides support to Operations team. The right candidate for this position must possess superb organization and prioritization skills, work well under pressure and availability to work different hours. This a very dynamic and evolving role, therefore, the selected candidate must be fast to adapt and apply the skills necessary to complete the duties and responsibilities assigned. Discretion and proper management and safeguard of confidential information is essential for this role. Communication with Management and HR Partners is a must.

Some of the Position Responsibilities

Payroll & Timekeeping:

Audits time and invoices for contingent workers to ensure they match the time cards
Prepare Time Detail Reports
Run the missing punches report and follow up. Collect and enter all missing time before the end of day
Creates and generates reports for HR and Operations.
Pre-Hire & On-boarding:

Distribute pre-hire paperwork, collects new hire information, make sure the forms are completed and documents turned in, roster updates
Conducts new hire orientation on clock-in and out procedures
Educates new hires on use of timekeeping and self-service tools
Employee Life Cycle and HRIS:

Ensures data integrity in HRIS (Unify) and other people related systems
Assist HR manager with maintenance of employee personnel records
Administrative:

Time & Attendance
Receives Absence requests for processing

Basic Qualifications

Responsibilities and Duties
• Professionally administers all incoming calls answering them, within the third ring.
• Responds to incoming calls, screen phone calls, and ensure phone calls are redirected accordingly.
• Greets employees, visitors, guests, vendors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner.

• Handles the hand stamp.

• On a daily basis, responsible for faxing and mailing invoices to customers.
• Directly responsible for keeping the Conference Room locked and clean providing access upon top Administration request.
• Directly responsible for keeping the visitors log book, making sure all visitors are announced and the procedure established to control access to the premises is followed.
• Coordinates meeting arrangements and decorations for the conference room.
• Assists with special projects as necessary.

Falcon Farms is looking for Mother's day Floral Merchandisers to help care, merchandise, and sell fresh-cut flowers at multiple retail locations.

In this temporary (3 to 7 days) position, you will enjoy working with a dedicated team as we strive to provide quality service to our customers while maintaining the health and well-being of our flowers.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FLORAL MERCHANDISER
Unbox product, unwrap roses and prepare them for sales floor
Change water in buckets on display pallets.
Sweep and mop around display areas.
Break down any pallets of product, get it on rolling racks, so it goes to the sales floor first. Ensure it is enough to fill displays.
Remove all trash and water buckets from the back-stock area to make more room in the dairy cooler for a new delivery.
Set up enough large vases on flatbeds (open to display w/signs) for easy fill in on the
pallet.

MERCHANDISER QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years of age or older
Able to work full agreed assignment
Physically able to push/pull/lift up to 50 lbs. on an ongoing basis
Comfortable bending, stooping and lifting products above your shoulders
Ability to stand and walk on an ongoing, extended basis throughout the shift
