Artificial intelligence companies Stability AI Ltd, Midjourney Inc, and DeviantArt Inc (amongst others) are getting sued for using copyrighted material on AI-generated work.

This software copies billions of copyrighted images to enable it to create images in those artists' styles without permission.

What is worrying is that the software is learning different art forms and styles without consent or knowledge from the original creators.

Canon has been recently working on the development of RF mount lenses, releasing some extreme designs. They are not slowing down as they have just released the new design of their most recent patent.

The patent features multiple f/1.8 lenses, including an impressive 150mm f/1.8 design. Such a lens would be an extremely wide aperture for such a focal length, which is a complete novelty in the photography field.

Earlier this year, there was an OpenSea drop of the BMW Museum of Sound, featuring a collection of engine sounds from BMW vehicles, although there where no digital assets that came directly from BMW on the drop, that got the ball rolling for the company to get the Trademarks registered in preparation for entering Web3.
