Purchasing South Florida’s largest party rental company is only the beginning of how the company intends to revolutionize the event industry.

(Miami, Florida) January 17, 2024- Based in Miami, Logistic Events Corporation is known for specializing in temporary building and structure solutions for events and other occurrences. The company has built a solid reputation for these structures across the United States, as well as having erected structures in other countries. Their large choice of materials and modular components combined with extensive design capabilities has made them an industry leader. Now, with the recent acquisition of Diamonette Party Rental, “L.E.C” intends to become the “one-stop” solution for private, corporate, and social functions, as well as festivals, concerts, and commercial/real estate projects.

Diamonette Party Rental has been known as the largest full-service party rental company in South Florida for decades. Established in 1987, the company built a reputation on superior equipment and top-caliber service. Moreover, in a world of ever-changing markets, Diamonette was able to diversify inventory in the thousands. Today, it will be known as the Diamonette Division of L.E.C.

The state of Florida will hold its second, two-week Back-to-School Sales Tax Holiday beginning Monday, January 1 through Sunday, January 14.

According to the Miami-Dade County Public Schools, community members will get a break from the state’s 7.02 percent sales tax on some school supplies.

No Florida sales tax or local option tax will be collected during this time on the sale of the following items:
*Clothing, footwear, and certain accessories with a sales price of $100 or less per item
*Certain school supplies with a sales price of $50 or less per item
*Learning aids and jigsaw puzzles with a sales price of $30 or less
*Personal computers, laptops, monitors, and certain computer-related accessories with a sales price of $1,500 or less, when purchased for noncommercial home or personal use

The allowed school supplies include calculators, colored pencils, crayons, pens, construction paper, lunch boxes, notebooks, glue, paste, staplers, markers, rulers, and scissors.

Examples of learning aids and jigsaw puzzles include electronic or interactive books, flashcards, memory games, puzzle books, search-and-find books, toys intended to teach reading or math skills, and stacking or nesting blocks or sets.
