We are getting close to unveiling our new place. I heard from a group of visitors who stayed with us last summer and she is ready to book sight unseen because of our 5-star treatment and homes.

Champagne Vacation Rentals had a wonderful time hosting many families and friends over the past 2 summers. After a glorious 2 years and many years owning the Catalpa property, we decided to sell and go in a different direction so as to spend more time with our family and friends. BUT, that doesn't mean we are no longer in business, it just means that we have a new place. It is centrally located, minutes away from the 421 exit off of 80/94, located in a beautiful neighborhood, less than 3.8 miles to Washington Park Beach, and minutes to shopping restaurants, grocery stores, and other essentials. The home is an adorable brick ranch with open concept living . It boasts three bedrooms, 2 baths, fenced in yard, and more. Picutres and booking will be available March 15th.

It is so hard to believe but after 2 years of wonderful joy as providers of short-term rentals, we have sold our rentals to a wonderful couple, who want to continue as providers of 5-star service to people who come to Michigan City. We have provided lodging to some wonderful people, who came as visitors and left as friends. There are many communities and individuals who have developed a very negative opinion of short-term rental owners and their amazing guests. What they do not realize is that it increases property values, and introduces a community to individuals who would have never thought about coming to communities like Michigan City, Beverly Shores, New Buffalo, and yes, LaPorte. I highly encourage community leaders to open their arms to visitors as they are the lifeblood of a community. Recognize how valuable short-term rentals are, so much so that even Bonvoy - Marriott is embracing short-term property owners! I wish the new owners of Catalpa and Seas the Day the absolute best! Steve and I are on to yet another wonderful journey and we Thank God!

Sitting at Pub and let me tell you to get amazing service in Michigan city in a Monday night is pretty AMAZING!!! Highly Recommended!!!!

We have some premium summer dates in July and August for Catalpa if anyone is interested in a quick get-away and beach time fun while the weather is still perfect!

Why the rental in Elston Grove? Why small? Because Steve and I wanted to provide a really nice, clean, and fashionable place for people on a budget. Recently we had a single mom and her little girl stay. They were overjoyed that they were able to stay in a vacation rental and enjoy all that Michigan City has to offer! Her daughter had never been to a beach before and rather than stay in a hotel room where they would have had to have every meal out, they stayed in a clean, safe, comfortable house with all the necessities for less than a hotel.

Our small property on 11th St., right in front of all the double-track hub-bub is a gem. The price is right and the place is adorable and quiet! Don't let the transitional neighborhood fool you. it is quiet, charming and perfect for an affordable stay in close proximity to EVERYTHING! Steve started out our Michigan City adventure in this neighborhood in the heart of it all in 2008 and has never looked back. Don't let the closure of 11th street scare you away, there is a quiet paved alley and off alley- parking. Just pull right up to the patio and slip off to Ahhhhh!

Catalpa's little brother is really coming together. New carpeting and flooring were laid. Paint updated and ceiling fans. Praying the city approves the private patio. Pictures coming within a week or so. The Lowe's Home Improvement Ultimate installers of our carpet did a great job! It looks so great!
