I guess you could call it treasure hunting! Buried under 100+ years of horrible corrosion is a beautiful brass door. Our crew members have the patience to go in and dig deep!

Our crew is in the first phase of cleaning a large number of very soiled and stained garden sculptures. Here’s a peak at what Joanna has done with the first biological cleaning. This stage alone has made a significant difference in the surface appearance.

We just finished up the complete restoration of the Barker Mansion grand staircase (the dark upper portion above). Many hundreds of hours were spent by our fantastic team to bring this old beauty back to life. The is now open for tours, if you’re a local it’s worth going to check out😎

We’re getting back in the swing of it with summer classes in the old space. Details soon!

One of the joys of being involved in the trades is being able to pass down knowledge. We have an apprentice from the local vocational program working with us who is the most delightful young woman. This rocking chair restoration is one of her projects in our shop. Stay tuned for some pics of her finished project!

Back when we were young and silly we used to drink Irish car bombs at this place.

We don’t have room for a big Euro slider in our shop but this triple MFT setup with the new TS60 saw gets us pretty darn close.

Part of the window restoration process involves removal of rotten and damaged material from the sash. This is the painted side so we’re less concerned about color matching the wood inlay and more concerned about the fit. All repairs are made with
