It’s hard eating healthy and working out but it’s easy eating unhealthy but hard being obese and out of shape. Measure the benefits of the two.

It’s hard to be financially independent and to discipline yourself to become financially independent or start a business but it’s hard being broke and/or working at a job you don’t like. But measure the benefits of the two

It’s hard doing the right thing everyday but the consequences of doing the wrong thing is greater. Measure the benefits of the two.

Pick your hard today and have a good. I’m working on the financially independent hard today.

We would like to take a minute and thank Julie and the McDonald’s team on Franklin for working with the AAH youth employment program and giving one of our shooting stars Devin a job. It was easy for us to help Devin, he expressed that he wanted to work. If you see this young man congratulate him and encourage him to continue to push forward. Devin! You rock and we’re sure you’re gonna do well.

Food Truck Thursdays

There will be a food truck at the beach every Thursday this summer. This is a pilot program and more locations or trucks might be added as the Summer goes on.

A blessed day at Anthony Adams House Inc. FB would you congratulate this man on getting his first job at Taco John. He’s 16 and Jason is the first youth to get hired through our employment program. We’re so proud of this young man and hope that he continues to push forward and that his tribe continues to encourage him to soar. Although we’ve assisted many families, Jason is technically the first youth in our Basic Center program and we want nothing but the best for him and those who love him. We appreciate Taco John along with the other employers that agreed to partner with us to give the youth of our city a chance. Jason you rock!!!

Today’s Word
Our God is a great Father. He has gifts in store for you that are more than you can ask or think. Don't be frustrated if you find yourself waiting for what you know He wants you to have. Sometimes God shows His love for us not by what He gives us but by what He withholds. If He provided you with that job, that house, or that baby before you're ready, it would limit your future. He knows what you can handle and when. Keep growing, keep being good to people, keep passing the tests. You may think you're ready, but you can't see how high God is going to take you, how much influence and resources He's going to entrust you with. He not only knows what you're going to need, He knows who you're going to need. Sometimes God is saying not yet because He's still getting somebody else ready who's going to be instrumental in your life. Trust His timing and go through the waiting period with a good attitude.

Prayer for Today
Father, thank You that You are not just good, but You are my great Father. Thank You that You are constantly showing me Your goodness with every good gift that comes into my life. Help me
to be patient when You withhold a gift and to know You are always on schedule.

Anthony Adams House to expand drop-in shelter MICHIGAN CITY — Youth who are homeless or have run away from their parents have a safe space to go in Michigan City, according to one nonprofit group.

The Indiana Youth Engagement Workgroup is facilitating a Court Education Webinar for youth and young adults to learn about their rights in court according to the Indiana Youth Bill of Rights, to better gain confidence on how to participate in court and court etiquette, and to learn skills to better advocate for yourself in court.

FREE basketball clinics hosted by the Michigan City High School Boys Basketball Team.

Getting back to the basic with foundational and fundamental training.

Additionally, please note that our T-Ball program is already at full capacity so we have closed registration.
