We may CLOSE EARLY today Dec 22, 2022 due to the blizzard-like conditions heading our way, and will most likely be CLOSED tomorrow, Friday Dec 23, 2022 because of the forecasted sub-zero wind-chill temperatures over the next few days. We are CLOSED on Saturday Dec 24, 2022 for the Christmas holiday. If you need to get something from your storage unit, please do so TODAY. Be safe, stay warm and be weather-aware. Update to office and access hours. It's winter again, so we're closing at 4pm on Wednesdays until Spring arrives. All other days remain the same as usual: M, T, R, F (9am - 5pm); Sat (9am - 3pm); Sundays (CLOSED).

Our Story

Alpha Storage Michigan City is a conversion of a former multi-story factory. We provide all indoor storage units. Units on the upper floors are accessible by elevator only. We also offer indoor heated warehouse space for storing cars, boats, motorcycles, RV's, and campers. Our outdoor gated and fenced area is available for storing vehicles as well. We have a planned phase of new ground-level accessible temperature controlled self storage units coming in late 2020, early 2021. There is also a fenced and locked outdoor storage area for RVs, boats and vehicles.

We serve Michigan City, Michiana, Pines, LaPorte, Chesterton, and surrounding LaPorte and Porter County communities with the most reasonable, friendly, and family owned self storage in the area.

Our indoor heated vehicle and camper storage areas are renting up quickly! Get on the list to protect your classics, toys, or vehicles you cannot store at home.
