Last week our Middleton associates had the opportunity to participate in the BEx Games at the Keva Sports Center. Games included KEVA skis relay race, bean bag toss, blind volleyball, rubber chicken fling, flip cup, and soccer shootout. Prizes were given to the highest score, best team name, and best team costume. Such a fun day!

Earlier this week, associates at our headquarters got to enjoy a taco buffet in celebration of the relaunch of our Culture Club and Community Action Network. Encouraging engagement opportunities for our Springs associates is one way we create the Best Experience.

Last week our associates got the opportunity to meet with various representatives from Dane County non-profits to learn how they can get more involved with our community. They also enjoyed some delicious treats from Just Bakery.

On Monday Springs Window Fashions associates at our headquarters in Middleton got a chance to enjoy some appetizers and refreshments in our front lobby.

We will be closed on 12/23, 12/26 & 12/27 in observance of Christmas.

Yesterday we had Department Decorating Day at Springs Window Fashions. Everyone did an AMAZING job and the judges are going to have a real hard time picking the Top 3 departments!

Habitat volunteers help single mom build her first home Latisha McKeown had never owned a home but on Wednesday she came one step closer to saying goodbye to paying rent and trading it for a mortgage.

Labor Day is a day to celebrate the contributions that America’s workers make to its strength and prosperity. Thank you to all of you!

Springs Window Fashions will be closed on Monday, September 5 in observance. May this extended weekend be filled with celebration and relaxation!

Springs Window Fashions kicked off our 2022 United Way of Dane County workplace campaign with pizza, ice cream, bean bag toss, giant Jenga, and a 50/50 drawing. At Springs, we support our associates giving back to our community. Members of the Marketing department recently volunteered at Madison Area Food Pantry Gardens. They are a local garden that grows fresh produce and donates it to over 30 Madison-area food pantries!

Wishing all our associates, customers, and consumers a safe and happy 4th of July weekend!

Our offices will be closed on Monday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 5 in observance of Independence Day.

It was a gorgeous day in Middleton the other day and our Springs associates had the opportunity to grab lunch at the Melted food truck in our parking lot. Lots of tasty grilled cheeses were consumed 😋

Associates will perform all the assigned responsibilities related to operating extrusion equipment. Hours are Monday - Friday, 3pm-11pm.

- Setup, operate, and trouble shoot extrusion equipment
- Keep machines running by refilling raw materials
- Read blueprints and use caliper, tape measure and gauges to document quality checks
- Box and label parts quickly and accurately
- Keep track of production and use calculator to do simple math
- Fill out paperwork and work orders with 100% accuracy
- Performs other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:
- Minimum - High School diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Must be safety and quality conscious
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and use a calculator
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills

The Springs Window Fashions’ Sales Representative will help drive incremental sales within our retail partners Home Depot and Lowe's. Key responsibilities of the position involve in-aisle engagement and selling of SWF custom window treatments to consumers.

- Sell SWF (Bali, Bali Essentials, and Graber) custom window treatments to consumers in-store
- Provide product knowledge to consumers and store personnel
- Raise brand awareness during peak retail consumer shopping hours with table-top selling events
- Ensure sample products are on display, fully functional, and clean
- Understanding and utilization of store order entry systems to identify and assist in closing sales opportunities

Mission:
The primary responsibilities of the Part-Time Sales Representative is to successfully integrate national retailing programs into the territory, to promote and train on the sale of Graber, Bali, Signature Series, and Springs branded products, to achieve maximum market pe*******on and build brand reputation, and to attain short- and long-range objectives for retail sales growth.

Objectives - The Part-Time Sales Representative will spend approximately 70% of their time in stores training and selling the retail store associates on the brands we sell. This includes:

• Training on product features, selling points, selling methods and techniques
• Advising how to properly merchandise Springs products
• Teaching correct ordering procedures
• Preparing for and training store/franchise reps on upcoming promotions
• Solving customer complaints and delighting customers with your solutions • Foster Bex for store associates and their peers National Account Manager
• Work with Springs National Account Managers to plan and coordinate training events, new store openings, sales promotions, assortment changes, display changes, etc. He or she will conduct product knowledge and selling classes of up to 50 people in many of these types of events. Display Integrity
• Responsible for the integrity of displays. He/she will regularly install new displays and update existing displays with new products or new hardware as required, clean/tidy displays as necessary and update pricing and sample books. Opening Stores
• The Part-Time Sales Representative will spend some time planning for new store openings, in close coordination with his/her Regional Manager and appropriate personnel from the retail chain. He or she will help set up new stores and will often attend grand openings or other special events planned for individual stores. These events often will occur on weekends.
• Reporting Part-Time Sales Representative may be asked to assist in training new Sales Representatives in other territories.

Mission:
The Channel Marketing Manager for the retail channel is responsible to support development, coordination, process improvements and implementation of all branded marketing efforts for products and brands sold through the retail channel (i.e., retail accounts (in store and .com). shop at home program and internet accounts) with the objective of profitable sales growth, taking market share and creating brand awareness in the retail channel.

Job Duties:
1. Key point of contact between product management, retail sales team, retail project managers and several cross functional departments to implement and execute projects into the retail (in store), account websites and internet accounts (40%).
2. Develop marketing campaigns, support marketing strategy around brand and retailer marketing initiatives with a goal of gaining market share (40%)
3. Collaborate to develop channel strategy (10%).
4. Make decisions and recommendations based upon data (Daily)
5. Support planning, budgeting and other run business activities (10%)
6. Ensure development of high-quality products and services (Daily).

Education & Experience:
• Minimum - Bachelor’s degree required with emphasis in Marketing or related field; 4-7 years of marketing experience
• Must have some knowledge of manufacturing, sales, inventory control, distribution, and finance
• Preferred - Marketing or sales experience with a consumer goods company is desirable.
• Experience with a décor related product line is also desirable.

Job Description:
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for creating, improving and deploying policies and procedures that establishes standard work practices for the Global Procurement organization. This position will also oversee the supplier performance management program which includes establishing a supplier review meeting cadence, revamping scorecards and driving VA/VE projects, quality improvements and supplier development initiatives.

Job Duties
• Serve as the subject matter expert on the design, development and implementation of procurement standard procedures and policies in the areas of purchasing
• Facilitate cross functional engagement with Sourcing and Finance teams in support of project ex*****on and financial performance reporting
• Analyze and track performance to Sourcing financial goals, develop and publish weekly reports to ensure accuracy. Hold weekly reviews with internal teams to develop necessary action plans.
• Identify technology, data and information deficiencies, best practices and/or ideas, and then manage multiple projects for the development of Procurement related systems/tools. Lead and facilitate project schedules, develop action plans to ensure targeted milestones are met.
• Act as the Procurement subject matter expert in the businesses ERP implementation project
• Engage the Business Leadership team to develop sourcing programs/processes that deliver enhanced productivity
• Collaborate with global commodity managers in setting realistic/challenging operational goals during the annual budgeting cycles
• Lead the company’s supplier performance management system which involves the development and implementation of supplier scorecards and a supplier review cadence
• Deploy training in areas of strategic sourcing to further enhance the capability and performance of the procurement team
• Lead a team of sourcing specialists to support new product development projects and other tactical purchasing initiatives
• Ensure the NPD tollgate process is being followed and that supplier selections are being made in-line with category strategies, and contract terms are negotiated prior to the project kick-off

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical competency, minimum in a business/industrial related field. MBA a plus
• 7+ years of sourcing/supply chain experience and/or leadership in supplier quality
