Our Middletown Medical providers will be participating in a medical mission through Island Impact Ministries in the Dominican Republic.

Their team of 18 volunteers includes two physicians, nurse practitioners, Physician Assistants, nurses and non-medical support staff. Their week will be spent travelling to Hattian villages within an hour drive of Sosua, Dominican Republic, where they
will be staying for the week, to provide general medical treatment and care to the village residents.

Their team will carry in all necessary over the counter and prescription medications, medical tests, first aid supplies, personal care and hygiene items and small toys for the children to the country.

Island Impact Ministries was established in 2003 with the mission of providing free healthcare services to the underserved people of the Dominican Republic and Haiti. Several members of the team have served on these medical missions with Island Impact over the past 20 years.
