Now that summer has arrived, there is a significant increase in pedestrian traffic, children out and about, summer camps taking place at our schools and parks, and individuals enjoying our downtown area. We will be stepping up enforcement citywide to ensure the safety for all who reside and visit Middletown.

News Release - Fatal Motorcycle Accident on Randolph Road On June 8, 2024 at approximately 5:45pm, Middletown Police Officers were called to Randolph Road in the area of Zoars Pond for a motorcycle accident.  

Roads are re-opened

Middletown Police are investigating a motor vehicle accident on Randolph Rd. Traffic is currently being detoured at Highland Ave and Arbutus St. Motorists should expect detours and traffic delays.

Today, Members of the Middletown Police Department attended the funeral services for TFC Aaron Pelletier. They stood alongside thousands of officers and troopers from around the country. We’d like to extend our appreciation to for donating a bus and transporting us to and from the services.
