This little peaches and cream guy showed up at our place a month ago and started talking to me! On his second night he talked more AND jumped on my lap! 🐱This guy is NOT an outdoor cat. He is definitely an indoor kitty and a little lover boy (I've been calling him ROMEO.). He really needs a home ASAP! I've taken him to a vet for neuter, rabies, microchip, worming, FLK and FIV tests (he's negative) and baselinei bloodwork. Vet said he's about 5 months old. He's a smaller cat and he's quite social and loves people (and likes my dog--a plus!), getting petted and playing. I've been feeding him a healthy raw meat diet (he loves it!) and we all play with him every day. BUT--he's living in a 6' tall 3-level cage in the warehouse for too many weeks and he so needs a family and home now! I love this little guy and would love to keep him, but I am so maxed out with my 6 cats and dog in my small house. Sad me! ☹️ Are there any organic-minded kitty lovers out there in my network who can give this sweet guy a healthy, happy home? 💕 PM me ASAP! Thanks!

I just saw yet another ad for one of the thousands of phony "natural" skin care lines. This one being promoted as "natural, healthy and safe" by a doctor (?) sporting dramatically bleached blonde hair with dark roots and wearing super heavy makeup while rambling on with old news about the dangerous ingredients in skin care products. Oh and, of course, it's a limited supply of products at super-inflated prices and no product ingredient labels anywhere to be found. Trust me, I'm a woman wearing a white coat claiming to be a doctor who's concerned about you.

Well, every once in a while I get so disgusted by these all-too-common, cheap marketing spiels that I explode into comment mode. I'm so disgusted by these games, that today I share my comment here (as it will likely be deleted by the monitors of the page where I originally posted):

"I'm so tired of the same old, tiresome 'beauty/natural' body care marketing--manipulation--games, aren't you? It's always the same old conventional ingredients everywhere you look--big box stores, grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and yeah, even so-called 'health' stores, and definitely widespread across the internet! NOT true organic products! 'Natural' personal care products are 'fairy dusted' (Yes, this phrase is an actual insider cosmetic industry term used to describe the old well-known, widely employed label marketing game...wink, wink!) with a drop of some claimed botanical for product label 'window dressing.' (Another insider cosmetic industry-known phrase to describe the fluffed up ingredients label trickery utilized for purely marketing purposes.) 'Natural' has NO legal definition in the cosmetic and food industries, and is very rarely ever investigated, thus, it's a meaningless term. And why do companies hide their product ingredients from public inspection? So much puffery (yes, more industry insider label terminology) in the 'beauty' and body care industry! Why do so many self-proclaimed 'healthy skin doctors' or any other doctor for that matter have bleached/dyed hair and wear lots of chemical makeup? So, it's do as I say, not as I do? Tiresome."

We don't know of any stream, river, lake or ocean on planet Earth that is free from human chemical contamination. Do we have a karmic right to pollute an essential resource--water!--that belongs to ALL living things and that is the key element of life and optimal health?

Keep in mind that there are thousands upon thousands of toxic petrohemicals in commercial use and found as persistent pollutants in our waterways due to use of chemical products every day by millions of humans. Every day usage = daily contamination of our waterways and perpetual persistence! US Geological Survey heroes can't possibly test for all known chemicals known AND for the unknown new chemicals that result from chemicals combining/reacting IN the water to create new and possibly even more TOXIC chemical compounds.

Are you still using conventional and so-called "natural" body care products loaded with toxic--cancer-causing and/or neurological damaging--industrial synthetic chemicals?

As government and industry refuse to provide a legal definition for the word natural, know that this lack of a legal definition has created an infinite loophole for profiteering, predatory companies. The "natural" loophole is an enormous gap that, without any real legal boundaries allows for widespread and misleading use of the word "natural" on an endless variety of product labels. It truly is a meaningless marketing/greenwasing word and cannot be trusted as does notdoes NOT equate to healthy, environmentally-friendly, or organic!

Where can you find real organic and better personal care products? Hmm-mm? 🤔

No one has the right to inflict physical harm on others. Surely this is criminal assault...with intent to kill as pesticides are DESIGNED to kill. (AND designed to cause NEUROLOGICAL damage! Think about this and all of the weird and aggressive behaviors that are becoming increasingly commonplace--children with guns in schools, road ragers, apathy, autism, brain cancers, etc..) (But, hey, don't shoot us, we're only the messenger!)

New research confirms what we already knew: agricultural pesticides leach far from their original sources into the world’s waterways. The study found that pesticides exceed safe levels in 13,000km of rivers globally.

Rivers with the highest exposure to land pesticides “are located in central and western United States (Mississippi and Sacramento), Argentina (Parana), India (Ganges), East China (Yangtze, Pearl and Yellow (Huang He) River) and South East Asia (Irrawaddy and lower Mekong)”.

Dr Francesco Tubiello, a study co-author and senior environmental statistician at the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, said in a statement: “We must urgently adopt sustainable management strategies to promote reductions in field applications of harmful pesticides and set in place systems to effectively monitor their use under the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda.”
